obv. yahoo japan, but whereelse? With decent int'l shipping to USA...? Curious if anyone has good Mercari experiences too. Personally I think their return policy is a total scam.
    Thanks!

Mostly used, but some new is cool too, esp. if they ship to USA.

Try Ella Records & Face Records on eBay.
Both let you combine ship over at least 2 weeks which means at least 3 auctions in their selling cycle.

Don't gripe about the shipping costs when you know in advance that you're gonna have to use DHL.

If you want to buy because they sound better, I wouldn't. I bought many when I lived there one summer. I sold nearly all of them. Most sounded too bright and one too many generations from the master tape...

"Face Records" opened a small store in Brooklyn in 2018 and was pretty good for a while. I scored lots of good records there at great prices, though over the time they "smarten up" and their prices also grew up.
Since they reopened last summer after quarantine, their prices just tripled and quadrupled - at this point IMO it just not worth it. Though, local hipsters keep buying, store nowadays only open Friday trough Sunday and always packed with people.
You can try their Discogs listings, if You OK with prices.

In my experience it's case by case scenario, a lot of them sound like crap but some sound very good - You have to know what pressing exactly to buy, this forum is a right place to get that information.

Bid and combine ship on the separate online Japanese shop. (Yes I know they have a physical shop too.)

    Nah, I'm not that desperate.
Besides I usually prefer to buy locally, without using internet which means waiting, dealing with all kinds of crooks and idiots and trying outbid "deep pockets" from around the world.
