With WandaVision over, we have a new Friday MCU fix...

I don't think this one is going to be quite as complex as the events of Westview, NJ...but it's still worth watching a few You Tube channels to see what you missed.

This one is another slow burn, although the intro sequence with Sam in flight is very awesome.

Also bonus Rhodey, even if he's only there for some setup.

That canyon looked very familiar...I feel like I saw it in another Marvel film, but I just re-watched a few so I can't figure out which one. The YT video is good because it goes through all the museum displays and tells you what they say.

For sure. Erik Voss is a madman but the end result is always super informative.

I loved it...I loved that they brought back
    Batroc
from The Winter Soldier and hope he comes back in later episodes. Also very excited for the main villain to appear as he's played by one of my favorite actors (I'll keep quiet for anyone who didn't watch the previews for the show.)

    Thanks for starting this thread!

I enjoyed the first episode and feel we’re going to get inside these characters more. WandaVision was mind-blowing, and yet we learned a lot about them.

I expect F&WS to be a bit more down to Earth, but that’s fine. The MCU is diverse!!

I can see now why Wyatt Russell always wore a scruffy beard. Wow, if he wasn't blonde I would think he's cloned.

Does anyone else feel this story was conceived as a movie script?

Two episodes in and this is really boring. As above, it feels like a padded-out movie script, like most of the streaming series.

Boring? Some of the best action scenes ever done for television and a heartbreaking story for both of them...I didn't get to episode three yet but the first two were outstanding.

Not really feeling that. Expecting to have a lot of questions left after the next 3 episodes, but I'm hooked either way.

I have no idea what's going on... I've seen at least two of the Captain America movies (maybe the third as well, it's a blur though) and don't know what I'm missing to make this series work for me... I've watched three episodes but I'm close to bailing because I just don't have enough puzzle pieces to at least make a frame...

  16. Captain America, Winter Soldier, Civil War and the two Avengers films Infinity War and Endgame are all essential IMHO for this to work.

Endgame is more essential than Infinity War, but watching part 2 without part 1 is a recipe for madness :p

Just enjoy it for what it is. You can make the pieces fit later. They're all on Disney+ and aren't going anywhere.

This really has to be the best action series to ever grace a television screen.

I haven't watched Wandavison... But I like Falcon and Winter Soldier for the same reason I like the Mandalorian (I know... different franchise). It's got great production values and actually surprises me with the dialog from time to time. I wouldn't call it "do not miss TV" but it entertains for a few moments every week.

  25. I’m just not getting in to Falcon / Winter Soldier at all. I can’t get past the characters - they’re 3rd tier (including Zemo) and aren’t interesting to me. The plot doesn’t do anything for me either. I tried.
