Just reporting back after receiving and listening to the Miles Davis - We Want Miles MOV pressing that I had listed above. Wow... The sound is frigg'n amazing! And what a performance :righton: MOV has yet to let me down (digital or otherwise...)

I think it was @Black Elk who made the recommendation. I am truly indebted to you my friend [IMG]

My Nat Pierce-Dick Collins/Charlie Mariano finally showed up. The shrink-wrap was ready to fall apart: I presume that's just aging and not what shrink-wrap was like back in the day. And still had the OJC hype sticker with another sticker over the bottom saying "6.98 Suggested List". How do these "new old stock" albums come to be sold by Amazon.com? Not complaining, of course! Sounds great, just a little wave warp.

Hey Bro! Since I cannot comment on the Deep Discount thread I just wanted to say 'Thank You' for the link for the 3CD John Coltrane set. It has been shagged!

I usually never, Ever, EVER buy CDs, but like you said, this was a no-brainer for $3.99. And, if nothing else, there is no expression that defines me better than 'no-brainer' :agree:

    Thanks mate! :tiphat:

BTW, since many of you were mentioning it, I ordered an album here recently from Amazon (The White Stripes - White Blood Cells) and yep, it came loose in a white BAG! Just like many of you had said. So, I guess that is their new 'Normal' now, GEEZ... o_O A couple of the corners were bent a little, but the vinyl was fine. But, MAN... now we hafta worry about every damn album we order from Amazon...? I even chose the 'Amazon packaging', but that just meant that they put it in a white bag.

    Seriously lame...! :shake:

Wait a minute...you're saying you ordered The WHITE Stripes album "WHITE Blood Cells" and it came loose in a WHITE bag?

I honestly do not see what the issue is.

I just received Art Blakey’s “Moanin”
Arrived in a sturdy cardboard mailer inside another box with that big bubble bubblewrap.
    Arrived perfect.
    Weird.

Did you choose the gift option? I’ve been choosing the gift option since receiving a few in the plastic bag, and they’ve all arrived as you’ve described.

Sorry to say I use the gift option every time and it doesn't matter.. sometimes loose in a box..sometimes mailer in a box..sometimes mailer in a baggie and rarely just a baggie or rigid bubble baggie

I didn’t and they always arrive either like this or in just the sturdy cardboard LP mailer. Always.
I have no explanation or insight as to why.

I Think I Smell A Rat. Ever since Amazon defeated The Union Forever, they will Offend In Every Way. Don't be Expecting Jeff Bezos to be The Same Boy You've Always Known, using This Protector on your package. He'll roll it in Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground. I'm Finding It Harder To Be A Gentleman.
