one of the lists online had Over The Top. Generally movie considered average, but I like it. It's kind of a father-son bonding trip movie, set to the sound of Kenny Loggins and Giorgio Moroder
Where can you find a physical copy of this movie? I have not looked in a while, but last time I could not find anything. A DVD version would work nicely.
how about The Getaway (1972) or the 1994 remake. It's also a sort of a road movie, I love it especially the ending with the old cowboy
Vanishing Point - 1971 Denver -> San Francisco in a new Challenger Came out the year I graduated high school. A buddy from back then's favorite film ever.
I have this double feature... Race with the Devil is good also Got it on Amazon (Link is below) https://www.amazon.com/Dirty-Crazy-...es-tv&sprefix=dirty+mary,movies-tv,172&sr=1-1
I think Cold Mountain (2003) is also a road movie, showing main character as he travels back home and people he meets.
Sorcerer with the Tangerine Dream soundtrack, nice one. Just added The Wages of Fear by Clouzot to my Criterion Channel watch list, have never seen it. Just watched Roy Scheider in 2010, I suppose we are only listing terrestrial road trips. How about train rides, like Silver Streak?
Yes! Vanishing Point Even the remake is decent, just missing some of the cultural zeitgeist: https://youtu.be/s3hf-D7wmT0
