Yeah, if there's a problem with the assigned number the right thing to do would be to remove it from sale until they can resolve it.

I don't know if you follow the classical box thread, but popmarket recently listed a huge Itzhak Perlman box on discogs for a tiny sum; in that case, two or three people got the correct box and the rest got a different CD entirely (and never the same CD, which tends to suggest the problem goes beyond an ISBN being linked to the wrong product). For the Blancmange set, $22 seemed a plausible price, so I thought I'd chance it. I'd say I'll boycott popmarket in future, but they're also deepdiscount, aren't they? And that won't be happening. I probably just won't buy from them on discogs again.

 

Yep—they are Deep Discount and Import CDs too. All retail arms of Alliance Entertainment, the biggest wholesaler out there.

 

I thought Universal owned Popmarket. Alliance nabbed them also????

 

I also got Believe In Me. This seems to be the only one of the three CD sets that's readily available. I'm tempted to keep it but that'll just increase my anxiety by not having the other two.

 

I was also tempted. The third disc with the live show and the BBC session looks great, so do all the other extra tracks. I sent it back though.

I ordered this a month ago from China: the big 3LP LIVE Box Set from You Am I. Yes, I was apprehensive. The price seemed too low, the shipping price seemed low, I really wasn't sure what would arrive.

Anyway, it got here today. It took a full month to get here, but there was tracking I could watch along the way from China Post. It made many stops in China before it ever left the country. Packaged well.

It looks fine. Big heavy box set, including all the stuff listed in the Discogs ad. Just as advertised. Number 639/1000 .
