Nothing But The Best compilation album is being issued on vinyl, as SOV.uk exclusive (available to UK customers only), but is available also on two other sites.
Sound of Vinyl (UK only): Nothing But The Best: The Sound Of Vinyl Exclusive Translucent Blue Gatefold Vinyl
Bravado (Germany): Bravado - Nothing But The Best (Ltd Coloured 2LP) - Frank Sinatra - 2LP
JBHifi (Australia): Nothing But The Best (JB Hi-Fi AU Exclusive Translucent Blue / Clear Vinyl)

I have ordered from Bravado and had no issue. It is now confirmed that the site is owned by UMe.

I wish they would remaster the complete Capitol singles, on both CD and vinyl. With a deserving quality large format hardcover book, Bear Family style.

I agree -- but I'd rather the corporate-government giant that has taken over the sinatra catalog would lease these projects out to audiophile labels. I can't believe we haven't gotten a Sinatra w/the Philharmonic release yet.

Well more audiphile reissues would not do any damage :D I am hoping for more Impex reissues, they are indeed perfect label.

I am not sure that collaboration with the Philharmonic Orchestra would fit Sinatra. Arrangements made for his recordings are top notch and they fit hit voice (if not, he would not agree with them). I rather see properly remixed albums, mainly the early Reprise stuff with all-analogue remastering.

All I want are the ABC Studio sessions for To Be Perfectly Frank.
Only four of those 79 + songs have been restored and released.
No one has heard them since 1954 except on unofficial bootlegs.
Considering the sessions represent Sinatra at the peak of his talent
it is flabbergasting gobsmocking ridiculous that the Sinatra family
    has not moved on it.

AGREED! Some idiot got his mitts on some old Columbia "B" side tunes a few years ago and had the bright idea of "goosing them up" with recording a large orchestra OVER the recording! Oh yeah....that went over like a fart in church BIG TIME!!!!

Oh... is this the same ***** who did the same thing to Elvis on a few discs? If it’s the same guy he flooded fake reviews all over Amazon. Atrocious.

Oh yes! And I countered with scathing reviews. It drove him mad... literally. He attempted to track me down in L.A. big time. He went after some other person with my name out here. It was scary yet hilarious all at once.

    Oh. My. God.

those discs are poster children for what not to do with recordings. They are atrocious.

Sorry you had to deal with that.

That's all you want? Nothing else at all?

Gotta dream big. If only 10 percent comes true, you still end up ahead.

No, concentrate on the ABC recording sessions for To Be Perfectly Frank.
It's the single most important thing, and it's been neglected by the trustees
long enough. They should prepare it for CD release ahead of everything else
    with speed and urgency.

Then they can start thinking about the rest.

If by “trustees” you mean the Sinatra estate, I don’t think they own the masters. The subjects under the “roof” of this thread could not release these if they wanted to.

(And the TBPF recordings were made and broadcast by NBC, not ABC.)

Hey all, I got excited checking out the track list of Reprise Rarities Vol. 3, which hit streaming services today, because it claims to have the 1974 recording of "Empty Tables." Alas, as far as I can tell, it's the 1973 recording that came out as a single at the time. If I recall correctly, the 1974 recording was supposed to be on the big Reprise box, but the '73 version wound up included twice, and '74 remains unreleased. Or am I mistaken?

every time this thread gets going again, i jump on hoping that they're FINALLY doing some sort of special release for in the wee small hours.

i'm pretty happy with my 80's digital releases, but it'd be exciting to hear it dusted off and presented to the world one more time...

If they put four songs from the sessions on A Voice On Air surely
    they can do the rest.

(Sometimes I remember the TBPF recordings were made and
broadcast by NBC and sometimes I don't.)

A Voice on Air was a Sony Music product. Again: Different roof; not the Sinatra estate.

If the estate actually released To Be Perfectly Frank, would anyone actually take legal action against them?

A fine point well made, but surely the Sinatra estate participated. If
they give leadership to the idea it will happen, but they have to care
enough to suggest it to the different roof and offer their blessing or
cooperation or whatever it takes. Often times a release is simply a
matter of someone caring enough about it to make it happen.

If the different roof can release four tracks from To Be Perfectly Frank
on A VOICE ON AIR than the same different roof can release the other
tracks from To Be Perfectly Frank.
