"The Bob Dylan Songbook played by the Golden Gate Strings." I've (mercifully!) heard only one track - a Mississippi riverboat version of Mr. Tambourine Man. What they did with the brilliant A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall I shudder to think.

Don't forget the entire album that Sebastian Cabot, best known for playing Buffy and Jody's lovable Mr. French, put out in which he wanders awhile in the troubadour's boot heels and reinterprets some his most iconic compositions...

Here's a version of One More Cup Of Coffee by a British band called Nutz. I recall this version getting some airplay on a college radio station in Redlands, Ca. back in the mid-to-late '70s.

I don't mind the original Dylan tune and I love the John Wesley Harding album.

Love this one, another fantastic Charles Stepney production... it sounds more like a song from the musical Hair than Dylan.

    I think so.
I like the apparently robotic Barnes version, what can I say

Yeah, that’s a pretty dull album. But Ferry’s version of “Make You Feel My Love” is, I think, what gave Adele her blueprint. Stirring.

Any conversation on Dylan covers should include this one, although other inclusions are further away from the original

I played that disc for a friend of mine and that track visibly pissed him off.
