"The Hardest Part" got held up.............and one of the hit songs leaves early. One more must go today. Vote your next weakest link.

Discussion question: Have you seen Blondie live......and if so, how many Eat To The Beat songs have you seen?

    The Hardest Part (Round 4)
Die Young Stay Pretty (Round 3)
    Accidents Never Happen (Round 3)
    Slow Motion (Round 2)
Living in the Real World (Round 2)
    Sound-A-Sleep (Round 1)
    Victor (Round 1)

There’s no way I could vote off one of the best singles of ‘79 (Dreaming), or the Spectorish majesty of Union and Shayla before getting rid of the quirky, energetic but sometimes abrasive title track.

    "Atomic"

DQ?: I've seen them do- "Dreaming", a great back to back "Union City Blue" & "Shayla", "The Hardest Part" & "Atomic"... that's from seeing them 3 times.

Looked up some info on set lists & it looks like, since reuniting, they've also occasionally done "Eat To The Beat" & "Die Young Stay Pretty". So the one song I dig more (my 4th fave song here) on this album that they don't do is "Accidents Never Happen"... my top 3 would be "Shayla" (bronze medal) "Union City Blue" (silver medal) & "Dreaming" (gold medal).

Title track. Easy! It will get much harder afterward. Only saw Deborah Harry solo on the "Def, Dumb + Blonde" tour. Can't remember any ETTB tracks in the set but "Dreaming" was surely there. Whoops, also saw a horrific Debbie track date [singing to a backing tape in a club] several years later I've suppressed any memories of.

    "The Hardest Part" gone. Darn.

I only saw Debbie solo on the Escape from New York gigs in 1990 in Montreal on July 4. I think she only played "Dreaming". I wish I could step back in time. I wasn't as stoked to see her as I was to see Ramones & Tom Tom Club. I think she came on after Jerry Harrison. I reckon I'd appreciate her more now.

I guess not many have seen Blondie live. I’ve seen them 3 times.......once each in 2010, 2012, and 2017.

    Between this shows, I saw........
    “Dreaming” twice
    “Atomic” twice
    “The Hardest Part” once

    Nothing else from this album.

I've seen Blondie twice, both times on a double bill with Garbage.

I was there for Garbage, but I was happy to see Blondie.

Got "Dreaming" and "Atomic" at both shows but nothing else from "EttB"...

    Eat To The Beat

Sadly I never got to see Blondie live.
I used to love the concert that used to be on tv though, but it was songs from Blondie and Plastic Letters

DQ. Saw them on Eat tour. Rockpile opened. Seen them again on reunion with Jimmie and several years ago with a bunch of new young fellas. Clem still rocks.

Only saw them once.... 1982 at JFK stadium in Philly on a bill with Flock of Seagulls, Elvis Costello & Genesis. Can't remember much about their performance, but according to Setlist.com they played "Union City Blue" and "Dreaming".
