Have you considered the Naim Uniti Atom or Uniti Nova.
Over the last 3 months I have purchased the Naim Atom , Muso 2 as a soundbar and a pair of Kef Ls50 Meta’s (today).
I have been using the Atom with a pair of Spendor S3/5R and Proac D18’s
The Naim is a amazing piece of kit and you can get HDMI option and integrate with you tv.
You can add additional Naim speakers in other rooms and set up multi room.
The footprint is small so is easy to throw together.
We live in a small house and our dining room is my listening room once I’ve moved away some chairs.
My main system I get out once every couple of months but the Naim I can throw together in 5 minutes.
I haven’t tried the headphone output yet but have no reason to doubt it.

I bought a Yamaha WXC-50 recently. It's a well-built piece of hardware, and goes nicely with my Yamaha A-S701 amp.

Spotify Connect and internet radio have so far worked flawlessly. There's only one problem: the MusicCast app. It seems to be very idiosyncratic in its operation, and some workarounds are required.

For instance, I copied about 1500 files to the root directory of a USB flash drive, and I wanted to play them in shuffle mode. So I plugged the drive into the unit, opened MusicCast and clicked on the USB icon. It only showed 200 files :realmad: This is apparently the maximum size of a MusicCast 'queue'.

After much frustration, I found a way around this limit. I plugged the drive into my router, which has UPnP NAS functionality built in. Then I accessed it from the server section of MusicCast, and all 1500 files were there. Lateral thinking works wonders...

Trying to decide between the Muzishare X7 or the Black Ice F22 as a new tube integrated to go with the Technics SL122 mk2 my wife bought me (birthday!) and the Little Bear T11 that I got to go with it.

Any advice on the X7 versus the F22 would be most warmly welcomed!

    I am running Polk LSi15 speakers (4Ohm, 88db).

Well, on this front I have some news. Finally, after several delays the Bob Carver mono blocks have shipped from the factory and are due to arrive here sometime tomorrow. Hopefully, they'll arrive unscathed. I will post pictures once I have them setup.

Evidently, the my units were finished last week and then burned in over the weekend.

WARNING: gratuitous audio porn on display

OK, the Bob Carver Crimson 350 amps arrived yesterday. My first purely tube component in my 61 years on planet Earth. After doing some vacuuming and shifting of gear I unpacked the little red monsters, installed the tubes, placed them on the stands and fired them up. There was one problem at the start: the 30 dB of gain from the amps was too high, and I was getting noise from the loudspeakers. Setting the volume control to 12:00 fixed that problem, and it happened to be the gain setting that resulted in preamp volume level settings that closely matched with what I used for the previous amp. So, no harm no foul there.

As you can see the packaging was good enough to prevent damage to the amps though I would be more comfortable if these were double boxed.

Oh my aching back. No, not from lifting the mono blocks, but from installing the tubes while sitting on the bamboo floor. Jesus, how did I get so old.

Anyway, after a one hour warm up period I commenced with the music. Joni Mitchell/Blue (DCC gold CD), Al Di Meola/Casino and Jean Michel Jarre/Oxygene (MFSL gold CD) were the first titles to come through this iteration of my setup. I started noticing differences right away as far as how these tube amps were throwing the sound out into the room. The biggest difference I took away from my first listening was in regards to the high frequencies. Cymbals had more shimmer, and the transient speed up high was impressive. Also, Joni's vocals were....different, but I can't put my finger on how they were different. I need more time to suss that out.

The other preliminary finding was that these amps had no trouble driving the sealed-box Magicos.

In august I will have my Yamaha A-S3200 amplifier. I will mainly use the power section of it, together with an exellent tube pre-amp. I think it will sounds nice :)

I did something slightly regrettable just before the pandemic hit. I let go my two 30 year old turntables for free , a Rega Planar 3 and an Ariston RD40 , then lo and behold , I also lost my job aswell. But now I'm back in a position where I can spend my £1000.00 on a turntable.

Wilson Chronosonic XVX speakers. It might've been the Magico M6. But the Wilsons have displayed the most musical presentation, I think they're for me. The only other one I even considered is Nola CGR. And maybe a Shunyata Signa V2, a Denali.
Already have Shunyata Sigma V1 and V2 power cords.

Turtable tonearm and cartridge to be decided, but I'm aiming for a Hana Unami Red And Townshend Seismic Isolation and Seismic Isolation Pods and speaker platforms.

    That outta do it.

P.S. And another pair of ASL Hurricanes or The Cadenza.

I just received notification that my Microgroove X MK. 2.5 is headed back and will arrive this week, so I'm good ..... for the next two weeks....

The MusicCast app leaves a lot to be desired, which is a real shame as the Yamaha streaming hardware is beautiful stuff. If they supported Tidal Connect or Qobuz Connect in MusicCast the NP-S303 would be coming back out of the wardrobe…

Received the Luxman SA/CD player from Japan- took only 10 days !
Loving the sound, my Marantz SA8005 sounds excellent but this one sounds better as it should.
