Went for this one after listening to a couple tracks on YouTube. thx. It's down to $6.40 FWIW. Cheapest on discogs is over $30..
Thanks kindly for adding the descriptions and group associations! Tones On Tail - Shagged! I frigg'n LOVE Daniel Ash and cannot possibly recommend his 2-LP Stripped album from Drastic Plastic enough! The dynamics on it are out of this world! So, checking out this Tone on Tail, now THAT is the kind of stuff I really like! More heaviness and substance leaning more towards Bauhaus and Love and Rockets, and of course I totally dig his voice. So, for $9...?! $h..., I would let @hutlock kick me in the b@lls for $9! Thanks again Bro!
Oh man... I almost, almost, almost, Almost, ALMOST went for Faithless. That is the very closest I've been pushed in a long time to buying an album. Oddly, the one I liked best, What Can I Do, is NOT on the vinyl I really liked the Cyberpunk video that goes with Synthesizer. But... most of it was just a tad much too 'Samey' with the disco beat on every song. I frigg'n LOVE Tripp Hopp, but more so the downtempo groove of Massive Attack or the more creative variance of Amon Tobin or Medeski, Martin, & Wood, or the sexiness of Morcheeba. But, DAMN close!
I bought a couple of LPs based on @Tjazz listing. It's the first LPs I bought from Amazon in a while and was a little nervous with all the packaging nightmare posts. Sturdy outer box and each LP came in a mailer. Very relieved.
I just purchased The Who Sells Out Super Deluxe Box from Amazon at $94.02. I not sure if this is the lowest it’s gone, but I thought I’d pass it on. now if I only could find that price for the My Generation SDE…
5th plastic bag in a row, this one from Lexington KY fulfillment. With 3 corners heavily creased it’s going back. Out of the 5, this is the first I’m returning.
Also shagged the Tones on Tail--$8.84....we played the hell out of Daniel Ash "Coming Down" when it came out in my college daze....along with Bauhaus and love and rockets.
KD Lang 2LP Makeover (transparent turquoise) $14.98 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08Z2JWRDV/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 Rhythm, Country, and Blues LP $9.33 (I'm tempted, just because of Reba McEntire) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08S2S3MQC/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Thank YOU! The Sam Amidon LP is down to five dollars and change, free shipping with Prime. If you don't know this guy Youtube him or something, great stuff. His wife the lovely Beth Orton guests.
Bob Dylan Mono Vinyl Box down to $130 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003ZYJS5Q?tag=camelanonalerts-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1&language=en_US
Lunchbox - Afterschool Special on blue/white swirl vinyl for $5.07. Fuzz/jangle pop on Slumberland that would appeal to fans of early Apples in Stereo: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JDKL41P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_93AP8ZM8B2F4GZMZSH6C Amazon attributes it to the wrong band, but the ASIN is linked to Lunchbox on other Amazon sites so hopefully it's the right album.
and as soon as i took it from my save for later into my cart it is back up to 152...damn, was waiting for a drop on this
Maybe there should be a separate "problems with Amazon" thread for people to vent and share their experiences.
I didn't post that "Rhythm Country & Blues" LP. It was a big hit back in the 90's, I know, but the reviews for the vinyl pressing are bad. fwiw
https://www.amazon.com/Dixie-Blur-Jonathan-Wilson/dp/B082PPQV88 Jonathan Wilson - Dixie Blur : $11.45. Super good deal!
Shagged!!! Finally. This one has been on the watch list for a while...was hoping for a price below 100, but this is the first move i have seen on it in some time, so jumped on it.
Also bought the Beatles Mono Masters 3lp set...it went out of stock for a bit, but its back on amazon....54 bucks, not a fantastic deal off retail, but on discogs they are 80 bucks and over with shipping. Some speculate this 2014 set will skyrocket once the new ones are sold out....
