I did a search and found a closed thread on Karen Black, so here goies....who doen't (or didn't) love some KB thru the years ??! Ever since she played side by side with Dennis Hopper in Easy Rider, I loved her acting prowess and uncanny beauty :):)

Karen Black was one of those actresses who elevated any film she was in merely by her presence. She was sexy and unnerving at the same time. I’d watch her in anything.

It may not be her best film, but definitely one of my favourite roles of hers is in the Robert Altman film Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. Back when it wasn’t trendy for a woman to play a transgender role, she made that entire picture work. I can’t imagine anyone else who was around at that time pulling it off so convincingly.

Unforgettable mini feature film indeed. Karen played up to Cher in that movie very well.

I really loved her performances in Born To Win (with George Segal), The Outfit (with Robert Duvall) and Five Easy Pieces (with Jack Nicholson).

She was great in FIVE EASY PIECES and NASHVILLE.
TRILOGY OF TERROR is her tour de force!

I love Karen Black. She was absolutely fantastic in Nashville and Five Easy Pieces. I also liked her late career part as Mother Firefly in House Of 1000 Corpses.

I love her eyes. There's something about them being slightly off that gives her a vulnerability.

Her early short appearance in an Adam-12 episode is interesting....

Yes she was the stewardess in "Airport 1975" who temporarily took control of the 747 after its mid-air collision. She definitely kept her cool during that ordeal in the film.. If memory serves I think it was the reasons more flight attendants in later years were somewhat trained to fly just in case of emergencies like that.

I can’t believe no one’s brought up her great version of Cass McComb’s “Brighter”:
