I'm not really a fan of Celine Dion but there's no denying she's got an excellent voice. :)

Seven, including the five highest-scoring entries.

  7. No, I never cared much for her either but I watched a few of her concert films and was pretty much blown away by her showmanship, her poise, control and utter professionalism. She has an amazing voice and she is a real "queen" with plenty of love, empathy and care for those who surround her and work for and support her.

Oh, and quite a few of her albums are quite genuinely brilliant if you give them a chance. I'm steadily working my way through her catalogue.

    It
It’s not obvious to everyone that’s for sure. In fact, they’re doing a Juneteenth celebration downtown to include a big Michael Jackson tribute.

Since I just did it for the second 25, I'll put these in a quick ranking, too. The order could easily change a bit if I spent more time on this, where ideally I'd relisten to everything as I rank it, but off the cuff, my ranking would probably be something like this:

    Led Zeppelin - IV
    AC/DC - Back in Black
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
    The Beatles - 1
    Saturday Night Fever soundtrack
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
    Michael Jackson - Thriller
    Madonna - The Immaculate Collection
    Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
    Eagles - Greatest Hits
    Michael Jackson - Dangerous
    Michael Jackson - Bad
Bruce Springsteen - Born in the USA
    ABBA - Gold
    The Beatles - Abbey Road
    Grease soundtrack
    Eagles - Hotel California
Shania Twain - Come On Over
Celine Dion - Let's Talk About Love
Celine Dion - Falling Into You
Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill
    Bodyguard soundtrack
    Dirty Dancing soundtrack
Meat Loaf - Bat Out of Hell
    Adele -21

Seems like most participants have the Baby Boomer Biggies, e.g, Beatles, Eagles, etc. An interesting metric to me is: what's the highest scoring album on this list that you do NOT have? For me, it's Led Zeppelin's IV, which as I write has 77.6 percent of the votes.

    That's my girl Oat!

Yesterday would've been her 29th birthday. I always update my Oatvatar on June 12! :)

Her eyes are closed because she hated the flash from my early 00s digital camera.

It would beep a few times before the flash went off. Oatmeal figured that out and would close her eyes right before the flash!

I have a bunch of pics where her eyes are closed because of that!

I like that. Shepherd's crook. In the US it's a plain ol' hook. AC/DC's Back In Black vinyl was sold.
