I haven't watched a Veggie Tales for about ten years! Not seen this sequence before.

Doctor Who - The Seventh Doctor's Title Sequence

It was a radical change from the previous title sequence which, with minor changes, had been in use since The Third Doctor.

They also added a new ending sequence where the TARDIS randomly tumbles through the screen over the closing credits.

I just realized after posting that I was wrong about the previous title sequence. The above title sequence was preceded by the one in use beginning with The Fourth Doctor's last series. I apologize for the error.

One of my absolute favorites. This clip cut the very beginning though with the lone kid at the empty drive-in and Joe Buck singing in the shower.

:agree: Indeed PBS did, and that first season of Sesame Street was pretty hard to top, but I always liked The Electric Company educational show too, especially its 2nd season opening title sequences:

While originally on BBC, I believe PBS initially re-broadcast the unforgettable Monty Python's Flying Circus stateside:

Moving to cable TV, I have fond memories of this 70's era Showtime logo, which like the CBS "Special" posted earlier, always seemed to signify something cool (and here unedited!) was coming on:

Speaking of logos, this spooky 1982 United Artists opener always grabbed my attention:
