Wow, great price! I know he's been around forever, but for some odd reason I've never really checked him out. I found the 'Peace of Mind' song strangely compelling, although it starts quite a bit more mellow than I usually like. Something in the minor chord changes and timing, and maybe the message too, quite moving. I frigg'n LOVE the flying V guitar! Nice lead style too. For this price consider it shagged. Thanks mate for the post!

Just had my first 'white bag' experience with Amazon for the above LP. No LP mailer inside the bag, just a white bag. Corners of the LP all banged up and bent, big scratch on the LP cover. Its already returned to the nearest Amazon locker. A replacement is on its way. Hoping for a LP mailer this time.
That’s stinks. I usually wait for the new record to arive so I can keep the best wax in case there’s an issue.
If you want to hear actually GOOD songs with Michael wielding his magic V spells then you should check out his first period with UFO (Phenomenon, Force It, No Heavy Petting, Lights Out, Obsession, Live- Strangers in the Night), or his first return to UFO with Walk On Water, or his first two solo albums - MSG and Michael Schenker Group. Not that everything else he's done is awful or anything but they pale in comparison to those albums. Or even the majesty he lends to The Scorpions Lovedrive album. For example: My fave UFO/Schenker song...Venus from Walk on Water This has some of his very best soloing in it btw...Looking for Love from MSG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuC4aXVhRZA Jawdropping solos galore in I'm a Loser from UFO's No Heavy Petting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goRhs3ZVmZQ Scorpions' Coast to Coast from Lovedrive (one of my fave instrumentals by anyone ever) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FxOP-sk908 Lights Out from UFO's you guessed it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-uFp0m2xNs Rock Bottom - live from SITN...musically orgasmic...what Phil Mogg can do with Schenker's riffing to turn them into songs is what he's been missing for years and years including his new album https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8yLHbXv9tY This Kid's/Between the Walls (from UFO Force It) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGD0kQqqifI UFO - Only You Can Rock Me from Obsession https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zu9IJpjMeIg Doctor Doctor from UFO Phenomenon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwNOmS78q-o Armed and Ready from The Michael Schenker Group https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epSrddf65N0 I could go "On and On" (another great song from the MSG album btw) but I better stop lest I be accused of thread derailing which is not my intent. As a long time Schenker fanatic I've found his later albums to be a tedious listen songwise, including this new one. That someone should experience Schenker first through this latest album would be like someone telling me they just got The Who's It's Hard and think it is OK even though they never heard any of their other albums, or something equally shocking....sorry....
A steal of a deal on the 2010 album from This is The Kit: Wriggle Out the Restless (vinyl, might be a color pressing): $6.94 https://www.amazon.com/Wriggle-Out-Restless-This-Kit/dp/B07CRP22VM/
and another! Sonic Boom - All Things Being Equal (vinyl): $9.16 https://www.amazon.com/Things-Being-Equal-SONIC-BOOM/dp/B085DR9HMY/ This appears to be "splatter" color vinyl based on the UPC, but even if it's a different pressing, this looks to be the lowest price any version has been.
Wow! Now, THAT is a true fan mate! Most excellent, thank you very much for posting those. I will definitely check them out and I'm very glad to hear that he is indeed that good I figured that his earlier stuff (as usual with most, with the amazing exception of the matchless Gary Numan ) would be a lot better. That is why I was so impressed even with this new one, not being familiar with the earlier stuff. Interesting that you mention UFO. I believe that I do indeed have one of their albums and have had it for over 30 years I think, but I haven't listened to it in almost that long! Thanks again so much Bro! ***EDIT I listened to the song you embedded. Nice soloing. What I like about his style, being more of a lead guitar player (such as it is... ) I really dig the phrasing he uses. He doesn't just (lazily) play around the 'scales' so to speak with the usual 1/4 and 1/8 notes, but the lead styles I like are more along the lines of Charlie Parker who played more 'around' the notes (Bopp style - Not Parliament ) To me, that is much more expressive and there are like 'explosions' of expression in the lead phrasing (Zappa was the master at this) I really like that, and I really like his style. I'm glad after all these years I've finally 'discovered' him (REALLY on the cutting edge here...)

The Blu ray wasn't much in my opinion, and I'm a Vince Gill fan ! Just not The Eagles anymore. Glenn Frey is irreplaceable. Can't imagine having that on vinyl. PU.
