Paul McCartney dropped a new video of 'Find My Way' from McCartney III - Imagined with Beck. Look for the current McCartney's cameo with the younger "Paul" at the 40 second point of the video.

What the hell with this "DROPPED" nonsense? What happened to good old "RELEASED"? Come on people!!!

Been a term for at least 20 years....

 

Maybe they use the same filtering process that was used in Scorcese's The Irishman to make the 75+ De Niro , Pesci and Pacino appear 40 years younger.

 

It's what the kids say nowadays.

Oh, I received an education today. Until today, I had no idea this technology existed to this extent because clearly, I am an ancient lady. I freaked out when I first learned about this. I still think it's a bit creepy, and there's potential for misuse of someone's image, but I really enjoyed it. It was fun. It's the video equivalent of fan fiction.

 

There have been about four (or five) Marvel movies where they have made actors look 20 -to-30 years younger.

 

It reminded me of "Coming Up" in a way. It's like the 21st century version.

 

Absolutely a 21st century…tavistock..version of Coming up video….incredible stuff here. I absolutely love it. I say do a hologram tour of this kind of stuff Paul….lol.

 

Fun video, and decent use of deep-faking, although it's still more of a resemblance than a believable copy (to my eyes, at least).

I prefer Beck's funky remix over the original track, too. It's one of the standouts from the fairly uneven McCartney III Imagined.

 

Horrific

 

The really scary application is the very realistic audio version of deep fake.
Whatever text you type can be made to sound like it has been said by someone else.
Heads of state making war declarations and what not.

This video was a benign, relatively fun use of this technology.
