Same. The Stoughton jackets are pretty, but I'd rather have a standard-width gatefold. The Stoughtons are so wide that there's a large visible gap at the joint when they're closed. Seems a bit excessive, in terms of taking up extra shelf space (which is always at a premium). But they are pretty. (But while we're griping, I prefer a less glossy paper, like the RSD version of Yes' debut album a few years ago.)

I agree with you but it was dirty! I had to clean it three times.

Two new Tone Poets are now available for pre-order on Amazon (U.S.): Wayne Shorter: The All Seeing Eye. Lee Konitz Plays With the Gerry Mulligan Quartet. Release date is September 17. Amazon currently has each listed at the retail price of $35.98. However, Amazon usually lowers price before the release date and, if it does, one is covered by the pre-order price guarantee. I just pre-ordered both. Great albums!

Thanks. I just pre-ordered those 2 as well. Funny thing is they didn’t show up when I did a generic “Blue Note Classic” search on Amazon but appeared when I specifically listed the title in the search (“Blue Note Classic Out to Lunch”, etc). What a few hours. I pre-order 6 lps on Amazon in the past 2 hours (2 Tone Poets , 2 Blue Note Classic, 2 Acoustic Sounds). Acoustic Sounds Series has 2 new Mingus releases just listed for pre-order on Amazon as well (Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus. The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady). September will be a great month for music!

At least in my case, the problem isn’t non-fill but too much fill.

Love those t-shirts. Will be holding out for a Lee Morgan or Wayne Shorter shirt.

At risk of detouring the thread... I'm reviewing *available* options for upgrading my outer sleeves. Sleeve City has been backordered for months. Out of the other options, can anyone comment on the new polypropylene Mo-Fi 4mil sleeves? Or, how about the 6mil sleeves that MusicDirect sells? Open to other ideas, but needs to fit TP, MMJ and Mo-Fi gatefolds with preference to high clarity vs. slightly cloudy.

I have placed 2 orders with Sleeve City this year for their Diskeeper™ Audiophile Inner Sleeves I like them better than the MoFi because they are just a tad bit more rigid which makes insertion easier and the Deluxe Oversized Ultimate Outer 5.0 (50 Pack) both look in stock now for shipping to USA. I do see the ones you are looking at are backordered until October.

I'm hear for this detour. I was just looking for the same thing.
I've been using the Invest In Vinyl inners - they to me seem to be the exact same as the MoFi inners. But I'm having a hard time finding good outer sleeves for 2x or 3x LP jackets.

Between those choices, I'd go with the MOFI. They use polypropylene, same as Sleeve City, vs. the polyethylene sleeves you've linked to on Music Direct.
