The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel (season 3) When most intellectuals write wordy comedy they reference Preston Sturges but this show is too hip for that and references Nancy Mitford. Film school students must be kicking themselves that nobody thought of it before.
We just finished up Dark on Netflix. I know a show is terrific when I miss it and keep thinking about it for weeks after I have finished it. Also keeping up with The Chase, I enjoy the fast paced trivia on that show, even though it makes me feel old because my recall is a lot slower.
I don't know if you know about it or not, there's a new "Lost in Space" book coming out: For Lost in Space fans I'm sorry you won't be able to see any of the images in the thread I posted (you have to be a member of the Mego Museum to see them), but maybe the rest of the information is of some use?
The Pursuit of Love (2021) Nancy Mitford's novel set in 1927. Lots of Punk and Glam on the soundtrack. I can't believe how much this book changed my life. I practically quote it every day but hadn't realised it until about 5 minutes into this adaption. On Amazon Prime.
Lately I have really been enjoying Flipper on the Roku streaming channel. Basically it's Lassie with a fish.
Modern Love S2 Watch it for epsiode 3 (Strangers On A train) with Kit Harington, the funniest thing I've seen all year.
