    jake the snake
    hulk hogan
    roddy piper
    bret hart
    HBK

the list goes on until you get to the 90s
    undertaker
    stone cold
    mick foley
    HHH

    the 00's
    CM Punk

Even though WCW took away a lot of talent from WWE in the 90's, WWE still managed to get some good ones in that decade. You already mentioned the big players but I would also add the following to the list:

    Ric Flair
    Brian Pillman
    Ken Shamrock
    Tazz

Then they got a bunch of talent back from WCW and other promotions in the dawn of the millennium that had an impact for the next 10 years:

    Chris Jericho
    Eddie Guerrero
    Chris Benoit
    Big Show
    Rob Van Dam
    Booker T

I have probably missed a bunch of names in the fold, but the reality is that the struggle for WWE to take talent away from other promotions and elevate them is just a recent problem. All signs point to a major change in their organization in how they deal with talent relations and it is not for the better.

A NWA crowd cheering to "VInce McMahon, I love you" is a bit odd.

Very cool that they did a show at the Chase Hotel considering it's history for the NWA.

Pretty spot on comments about how poorly this NXT decision is going to go. They were pretty relentless with both WWE and AEW on this week's show. WWE for what appears to be openly throwing everything away and providing subpar programming, and AEW for completely botching their Dynamite & Rampage follow ups after CM Punk's return.

If you didn't see it, you should go out of your way to see the Santana & Ortiz vs FTR match from Dynamite. Top notch tag match.

No disrespect to the individual that recently passed away, but you would think the major wrestling promotions would have started taking mental wellness more seriously a long time ago. A shame to hear that nothing much has changed especially with all of the public tragedies that have happened in the business the last 20 years.

That’s what happens when you can’t form a union…you depend on the company to look out for your well-being. That’s never been the WWEs strong suit.

Definitely not WWE's strong suit and another one of the many reasons why their roster is leaving to pursue other ventures. CM Punk being a prime example, he has been quite open about the mental wellness issues he had working with WWE. Their solution like many other talents is to wipe them off the face of existence within their own company's history. Pretty sad really.
