Supposedly Aust Post has a backlog going back to August 23rd. Until Tuesday they're only picking up Express Posts and overseas air from customers. From Tuesday 7,30AM everything's back to normal.

Thanks mate, I already have it! It's a great set, I think mastered by Kevin Grey, I paid a lot more than that for it. Keep up the good work grabbed another 3 or 4 things you listed recently.

 

Then there'll be more backlog from all the parcels sitting around waiting to be sent for the period
they stopped....sorta defeats the whole purpose

 

The idea's psychological. The delivery guys have been working 12 hour days, 7 days a week for over a year now and they're still leaving more than they're taking. They're going to work 12 hour days Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, If all the backlog's gone by Tuesday morning it's going to give them some hope for at least a couple of hours before the next wave hits. Plus Aust Post is fast running out of places to store the parcels awaiting delivery.

edit. A guy just told me last year during lockdown #2 Victoria was sending parcels to NSW for sorting. They can't do that now because of NSW's problems with the virus so it's slowed down the whole process.

 

yeah I had numerous parcels go from Vic to NSW and back to Vic...it was maddening!

 

I bought this, but then read on Discogs about the pressing quality so I cancelled my order.
I just had another look and for some reason it had dropped to AU$107.26, so I re-ordered it. We'll see how they are, I can always return them if they are warped.
