Premieres on August 9 on FX on Hulu Executive producer Taika Waititi (What We Do In the Shadows) Looks good, I can't wait!
Just watched the first two episodes and really enjoyed them, looking forward to the rest of the season
Just started watching it and love it! FX has really been on a roll for awhile now, and this is another winner. Also, great soundtrack!
Incredible episode this week. Show keeps getting better and better. Paulina Alexis is an amazing actor. Show kind of reminds me of Northern Exposure in all the best ways.
Last couple of episodes have been some of the best TV I have seen in a long time. Funny, poignant, original, well written, well acted.
Taika’s other show, What We Do in the Shadows, is also fun, but Reservation Dogs is more layered and has more depth.
This last episode was outstanding. Wonderful interplay between Willie and Leon. Cheese and Big too from last week. Loved all of them. And the Texas Ranchers..."cancel culture, wokeness, government intervention and dont forget the gays". Ha ha ha. What We Do in the Shadows, while really really funny, is nothing much like the tone or characterizations of this show.
Coming from a Native family, the show is very accurate about what it is like to grow up and live on a reservation. The bits about spirituality probably go over a lot of non-native viewers heads, though.
For me it took until about the third episode to hook me. But hook me it did. Fantastic and very funny.
