  1. Thanks for the booklet info.

I am a Press To Play fan, often listen to it.

It could have been my first Paul album bought on release, but I saw a very short video on TV (extract from "Press"?) and I was affraid of what sounds to me so modern (the drums!). I've just have discovered Beatles music... and there was so many anti-Macca writtings in every papers at this time...

So Flowers was the first, the times had changes and the papers were for Macca (the return!)
and I had a PTP cassette and I loved it and always love.

Before Internet, I didn't know "everybody" hated this album!

    So 5.25 days?

    Ha.

I'm assuming that means the CDs as well. I'll keep an eye our for a followup email from Waterstones if the send one.

Will there actually be a cd release with Green Submarine like there was for the first one? I haven’t found any available to pre order.

    Yessir, there sure is.

Grandude's Green Submarine by Paul McCartney, Kathryn Durst | Waterstones

The CD for the last book was "sealed" with one of those clear circle stickers on the opening end. Something anyone can reproduce if someone wanted to pass off a "sealed" copy.

They still have CDs of the first book up for sale too.

FYI, this page says Sep 30 as the release date of Green Sub.

I've tried searching and searching. I've tried to find it on my own . . .

Can someone explain again the details behind the two different versions of the Hey Grandude CDs. If I recall correctly, one of them had more guitar than the other and . . . which one was which?

Edit: NVM. Found it: Grandude's Green Submarine by Paul McCartney, Kathryn Durst | Waterstones

"The CD in the softcover book has the original CD's reading, minus Paul's publication speech at the end, and it has a second track of Paul's reading with audio guitar-strum page turning cues inserted and Paul's publication speech back at the end."

Thanks, like for the first book & cd, I had to order from amazon UK as it doesn’t seem to be available in the US this time either. Which is annoying (and more expensive) but I guess it must due to clause in the publishers contract.
It still might be better value then the ep in the let it be box lol!
Also, I don’t remember if the audio cd comes with a copy of thr book or not. I don’t think so but I have the book ordered anyway

  9. Does anyone know if this is an actual McCartney guitar-strum?

I guess we will never definitively know but if he took the time to compose and register a guitar theme for the book then presumably he took the time to do one guitar strum for turning the pages.

I wonder if we will get a new theme for this new book?

I find this very interesting - this weekend the battle in music is between Kanye West's album Donda, and Drake's Certified Lover Boy. Well, we all know that Paul has collaborated with Kanye - now, listen to how Drake's album starts...

A very prominent sample of a jazzy version of Michelle. So prominent in fact, that Lennon and McCartney have a songwriting credit on what will likely be one of the biggest albums of the year. How fun is that!

I figured at least that. I wasn't sure if they might have been DVD menu music or something that I neglected to notice. I'm almost certain they were never released physically so I thought I'd bring it up.

I hope it hasn't because I pre-ordered it from Amazon. The track list on Amazon, both in the US and UK, still includes it. Of course, it could be wrong!
