It's a girl who's been on his mind... all the time.

  4. For me, lowering the key of "The Cinema Show" I quite like. I've always felt the Seconds Out version to be too fast / too brash (concerning the latter portion).

  5. Too late to edit my previous post, but I understand the difference between key transposition and tempo. They don't necessarily go hand in hand, but in this case I think they do - to good effect.

It's BBC breakfast. They don't ask 'difficult' questions. The main question that HE seems to find 'difficult' is a reference to his own past statement.

Ok then, wrong wording. For him, emotionally charged question.

Again: they were citing his OWN past remark!

You’re probably right with this; If they opted for Genetars, would that make the merch Genetalia?

Minus the visuals. Sounds pretty good. Hopefully they go heavy on the instrumentals.

Of course they're about to kick into Afterglow which would be the real acid test for the vocals.

Doubtful it'll be more than usual. It'll be fun to see what they finally decided on in a few days though.

Nic really nailed it. I wish they did a show with 50% (at least) of instrumentals. There's always so much discussion about the singer in Genesis, when the instrumental passages is where it's at really.

It might be very distracting for Phil to just be sitting out front for long instrumental passages with nothing to do.

I'm not saying this to be mean but maybe they could lower him below the stage when he's not singing, via a hydraulic lift, or something.

Maybe encase his chair in a giant Slipperman costume and use wires to fly him around the stage during a Lamb medley

I do think he’s going to have choice. Some longer songs definitely teased via Last Domino Comp and PBS special for the setlist

Well, there will be instrumental sections, no doubt. The PBS doc confirms this but I don’t think there was ever a question. I just don’t expect there to be an increase in instrumentals, if it’s not a decrease.

Yeah, probably a decrease. This particular section is usually the first big instrumental moment in the show, and this seems a pretty compact version.
