They also added 70+ more copies, all from the office couch. Probably bent and smell like stale Fritos.

So glad I pulled the trigger yesterday and got a pre-Frito era copy at $59.99!

No crumbs or pennies stuck to it either.

  8. Elvin would get my vote. I like Shades of Redd a lot too, but the Elvin session is so unique among the series that I find it essential. Of course, piano-less trios aren’t everyone’s bag so YMMV.

  9. I agree that Back to the Tracks is worth the $75 price tag. But I understand removing it out of principal. I’ve done that a few times myself.

Ditto. I can't believe that title's held on for so long.

I haven't checked their site in the last six months or so, and was surprised (but not really) to see so many $100 and $125 records listed when I browsed it today.

I’m a big fan of that Elvin session too. That and Genesis are both essential in my book.

If y'all are cool with that (I.e. Carol watching out for us), then you might, then maybe, you will get a Frito snack pack along with your order. Just ask @FWatty !! She sent him a palette!

Alright. Definitely missed something. What’s with all the Frito jokes?

Just poking fun upthread. Read upthread for full context. I'm nowhere near as funny as @FWatty. Therefore don't want to over'splain...

I have the Classic 45 set and folded my arms on my chest about the MMJ 45. But you enablers pushed me to get MMJ 45. ;)

Seam splits may not be MM's fault, but the jackets ARE the company's responsibility. Nissan sells you a car with a defective airbag. Is Nissan at fault? Not likely, but they're responsible for making sure it gets replaced.

Just purchased Smithville, my 15th MMJ45 title. Couldn’t resist a NM copy for €50 for sale right here in The Netherlands. Great lineup, and the SQ is very positively reviewed in this thread. So eagerly awaiting its arrival.
