I just nodded off. Sorry! I do need to get some sleep, so have to bow out for now. But, just for the record, I was getting nowhere! If it's not sa loved by morning I can take a fresh look. Good night I look forward to more!
OK, two more song/clues: and look, both beautiful females in sexy poses... oh my.. my... Ah Hell, let's make it a three sum!
I think this is Hendrix - Electric Ladyland 1. Burning of the Midnight Lamp 2. House Burning Down 3, Crosstown Traffic 5. And the Gods Made Love Not too sure about pic 4 - Gypsy Eyes? And of course the third clue is Little Miss Strange.
I am fairly certain my Hendrix answer is correct - regardless, here's another one to keep the game going:
Thought it must be Joni Mitchell’s Court and Spark (no.4 ‘Car on the Hill’), but none of the others match any other tracks.
Oops... I think I managed to stuff that one up good and proper. The problem is, I initially had two albums on one cassette, recorded from a friend's copies. Hence in my mind I always conflate these two albums, and sometimes have trouble remembering which songs are on which of the albums. As a result I managed to pick three songs from one Joni album, and two from another. With that info, it should be easy for you to identify the albums and the songs. I promise to take more care in future.
Ah! "For The Roses" has "Banquet". Edit: and the manure is the title track. Edit2: and "Barangrill" for 1st pic
You are correct Sir! Well done. 1, Lamp 2. House 3. Traffic 4. Gypsy Eyes (she is a Roma Gypsy with those BIG Haunting Brown Eyes they have....) 5. God Love 6. (Long) Hot Summer Nights (a film still) 7. Voodoo Child (Lisa Bonet in Angel Heart) 8. Little Miss Strange cheers,
Yes. I am a Heathen and a Pagan. My "Work Week" is The Weekend, Usually, Friday thru Sunday, sometimes Monday if the make me... So today is my Friday!!! But, I go on Straycation To Morrow and wilt be gone for a Spell (See; Pagan!) Now, to quote Jimi: "I must be on my way"...
The Who, "A Quick One"? It's got "Cobwebs And Strange", "Heatwave", "Whiskey Man", maybe "A Quick One While He's Away" for the milkman. What's Frankenstein? "Don't Look Away"?
My My that was "A Quick ONe" (While i Was Away...) He is Boris Karloff, AKA Boris The Spider... And of course I used the classic trope for the title track.. She is even giving him her Pie... And I started off with, I have got time for "A Quick One"...
...and since we seem to have moved on to more puzzles, I probably should up this one by stating that the fifth song is "Twisted".
No Sunday Puzzles eh? Bloody Hell what has gotten into all y'all? ALL SEA wut eye "Kant Tea Kum Up Wit!"
5:1 I'd Rate this one EasyPeasy... So I just changed a few pictures to slightly blur the focus of difficulty, but might be too late, some one saw... Good Luck!
2 is the young Afghan woman from the Nat Geo pic, right? I see our old friend James Taylor had a song that mentioned Afghanistan. And Marc Bolan had a song called "Afghan Woman", but nothing else matches. 5 is the famous photo of the kiss on VE-Day.
Correct on both count. But remember she replaced a different picture of...... And that day what happened?
