The back cover I think is the best part. This close up yellow profile edit, and then the wide shot of Paul on the horse in full color on the III Imagined vinyl are my two favorite back covers from all the options.
The cover on the 333 TMR edition is silkscreen printed with an extra large poster. I wonder how this edition is printed?
This just leaked… https://www.reddit.com/r/VinylReleases/comments/ps703e/paul_mccartney_iii_3333_rollingrecs_1022_and/ Even at 3333, it may sell out fast given the way I think it will be distributed to indie stores.
It took a while, but my 3333 Third Man Records version came in the mail today and figured I would add it to my list of US McCartney III issues and their SKUs (this list does not include non-US releases). I'm hoping this will be the final list revision! wait what do you mean “my 3333 from thirdman came in mail?”. explain? this was direct from TMR or a indie shop?
(earlier today) Paul McCartney @PaulMcCartney · 14h 333 copies of a new #McCartneyIII vinyl have found their way onto shelves in the US, seize a copy while you can! Keep your eyes peeled for 3000 more coming soon exclusively to indie record stores
I opened up my 3333 album today. It's not a gatefold album, but it has a huge poster, which, I believe, is the same one as in the original 333 version. The front of the poster is a combination of the three gatefold inner sleeve variants. The inside of the album cover is the same yellow color as the die on the cover. Someone earlier asked if the cover was screen printed. I'm no printing expert, but it doesn't seem to be to me; it is flat, not glossy, and I can't feel any colors "sticking out". But it is really pixelated, as was the original 333 version.
Vinyl shortage has pushed back the Garbage anniversary release of Beautiful Garbage.....yet McCartney keeps pumping out the variants.......lol

I'm in socal and have no idea where to find "indie releases". Even nearby record stores never have any RSD stuff. Don't know why they can't just sell things to fans in their email list.
I think artists like the idea of supporting "local indie stores", but they just end up inconveniencing the fans.
The whole indie thing and vinyl only at specific stores is just a marketing ploy. But I am not saying that is a bad thing. A lot of other products I buy I don't like their marketing.
I believe it is a marketing pilot project, aimed to test the elasticity of demand. How far can MPL/Universal stretch the number of products/variations and price? I am afraid this real time market study will provide enough positive response in order to set a new standard.
