It's not really all about the money. I did spring for the Santana Abraxas One Step and several other One Steps. Most of the people I know got burned out on the Eagles decades ago. I have most of their LP's but can't remember the last time I reached for one.
The individual purchase page on my phone and desktop computer show "preorder". I'm not sure what's going on.
I do reach for all of them (that I own) about once per year. And I love them when I play them. The only one I tend not to play is The Long Run and the OneStep of the s/t will be the first time I have owned a copy of the album.
If MFSL did an Eagles Greatest Hits One-Step release, there would be a massive demand. They have become a singles band due to their radio (over)exposure through the years.
It might. It's one of the largest selling LPs of all time. But even though I own a copy, I don't listen to it. I love their albums too much.
News flash! 9:06pm, ET. I went onto the MoFi mobile site. On both their individual sales pages, I can still preorder both OneStep Eagles records.
Please please release Robin Trower's Bridge of Sighs or For Earth Below as a One Step. I'd be all over that.
I did hear back from MoFi via email, they requested photos of the warps and said once they are done shipping out the remaining Eagles orders, they will send replacement jackets for the seam splits and new LPs for the warped Desperado discs.
If I didn’t pre order these Eagles one steps I would have regretted it I am sure. I have Eagles S/T and Desperado I believe they are 2nd or 3rd pressings. And I have the Grundman box set from I think 2014. I believe these will be superior and probably the last copies of these I will own. Of course it helps i am a huge fan of theirs
Or maybe you see a unique page because it's a Truman show type scenario where you are the only one alive and the rest of us are just actors or artificial life revolving around your story. Of course if the above were true then surely I'd be in on it and would know the truth. But I wouldn't spill the beans

The hundreds of you who have placed your order through my phone, including Prince Nehru of India (who has also asked me to deposit a check for him), will receive a notification if and when I receive any copies other than my own.
