I'm looking for a pair of sealed bookshelf spekers. My budget is around 500-700 US dollars, new.
My amp is a Cambridge, 50 watts and I mainly listen to digital music.

I've read good reviews on some NHT models, by I can't find them in Europe.

I'm obviously not looking for tons of bass, but rather for good mids and trebels.

Can anyone advise on some models, possibly available in Europe?

    Thank you

I read the thread title and thought NHT. After reading the thread, NHT is all I got at you price point.

A couple of yesrs ago i.purchased a psir of Accoustic Energy Aegis

    They sre not expensive
    They are however reflex speskers.
    Small and beautifully made.
    I absolutely adore them..in.preference
    To more expensive units

Being inexpensive they tend to get overlooked.
In.my small room they.are capable of
Superb dynamic range And they image well

Vignus, are you sure you can't get NHT to ship to you in Italy? Might be worth emailing and asking them as they sell direct. If you put me up for a few weeks and take me on an eating and sightseeing tour of your country, maybe I could bring you a pair... ;)

You could probably find a good used pair of Spendor A1 for around the upper range of your price, maybe a touch more ... Spendor a1 | Subito

My first thought was the NHT SB3, used of course.

Sealed in your price range is a tough call. I'm assuming you want sealed speakers because they're going to be placed in tight quarters, up against a wall? If so, why not check out a front-ported speaker, like Elac Debut Reference or Triangle Borea?

Well, I would say go for any set of speakers brand new and just don’t open them :D

I haven't heard the C3s in the flesh but they are said to be great speakers. Congrats!!

$1000 per pair in the US, but I guess they go on sale a lot. Sounds like you must've found a good deal, hope it works out well!

I got a discount on a discounted price, as the store doesn't distribute them anymore and had a few left
