After some of these comments I'm not whether I should run to buy them, or away. Lol

    I could set them up:
5 feet out from the front wall
A bit less than 4 from sidewalls
    7 feet apart
Seating 11-12 away (adjustable a bit)
    Wall behind seating ~15 feet

This would not interfere with normal living too much. imo the room is good, a bit over-dampened but RT60 is good.
From basic measurements room modes don't seem too bad. But until listen and experiment you just don't know.

I read the manual, the set up procedure is explained well.

No rush, the longer they are unsold, the better the deal. If I miss it, well, I keep looking.
But this does seem like providence.

The dealer sold them to the owner in Jan 2020.
    Trade ins on an upgrade.
    One cosmetic blemish repaired.

Almost 1/2, 53% with tax. I'm guessing some 'pencil sharpening' might be had.
But not really the $, but the practicality.
    Well, $ a little, lol.

People say that about my nautilus, they will be traded for my next step up probably Alexx V.

Perhaps he realizes a couple grand over what he paid Pays for rent and and moves a set of speakers that have sat there for a year.

I’m looking at the Alexx line they are difficult to get perfect placement but so were my nautilus, these are the more basic Yvette’s.

@Ingenieur those are definitely dream speakers , so I would try to make them work in my listening room if I were in your shoes. Ask the dealer if he would be willing to travel to your house to set them up.

Sounds like you have room to adjust, can you get the dealer to set them up?

    I doubt it:
    250 miles away
    Used speakers

I guess he may for $.
A day of travel, start setup
    Finish the next day, return

For a trip like that I'd charge ( and have) at least $2k plus expenses.
    That's 2 long days.

But I think I can handle it.
There is so much information out there now (just look at this thread alone) it may not be perfect (if such a thing exists) but close enough.

With uses if there’s not a lot of instant interest and you pretend to be on the fence due to set up, I bet they just do it, what a 4 hour drive? I have a dealer in NH that drives to MA and NY for my set ups. Sometimes included in the buy, other time was $500.

You will need another person to help getting those things out of the truck and in the house.

That's an antenna rotor control. I have an antenna on the roof for my McIntosh tuner.

My wife is short and skinny but she's strong.
    :)

My brother owns a commercial carpet business, he's got some warehouse guys.
In fact, If I go for it I'll have them pick them up in a van.

    I'll go blind faith.

When we were kids we unloaded trucks at that store. Using our backs for .12' 400 lb rolls, one guy each end.

Now they have a forklift with a 10' pipe extension. They are still bulls moving that stuff around all day. Lol

Now he owns it and does large contracts all over the eastern seaboard. Does residential for friends, too much of a pita, 'this seam is crooked', 'the nap is not right', etc.
Bid work, once signed off by the architect, done.

Not saying only because he's my brother, everyone says it, one of the nicest guy you could ever meet.
    I know! I'm the a-hole! :biglaugh:

    Listening to my system.
Hard to imagine a lot better, but I'm sure there is.

I know that route, drove it many times. <4 hours.
    Speakers 175 lb. each
    Total shipping 515 lbs. !
wth are they crated in. Lol

If I make a move definitely will have my brother's guys do it. 1 guy, give him $200 cash for a 9 hour day and buy his food (and my brother will keep him on the clock since it's a company truck).
And stiff my brother for the gas. :)
    Already talked to him.

If the 175 lbs per doesn't scare the crap out of you, get the van warmed up. They are gonna look great in your room. Hopefully you have the space to accommodate them to get the optimum sound from them.

Nice! My buddy also uses Nordost with his Alexandria X2's. The Sasha could also be called the latest version of the Watt Puppy correct?

    Lot of gears turning, lol.
Many good speakers in the $15-20k range, want to temper impulse since these may be the last.

    KEF Reference 5 (20k)
    Wilson Sabrina X new (19k)
    Vandersteen Quattro (goofy filter) (16k)
    Just to name a few.

All may 'fit' my room better.
    They are narrower.

But these Yvette are likely better if setup properly and are a bargain.

    Deep breath....relax......

Those would be decently more, op is talking about buying at 50% retail, retail for 25k, so 12-13k range.

A new cartridge is still a highly recommended upgrade.
The Vandys and KEF REF are not in the same league as the Wilsons.
