The Sloopy Girl is kinda famous ... Deconstructing A Myth: “Sloopy Girl” Lisa Leonard Dalton – PugetSoundMedia
I'd have to watch the video a few time before I'd start focusing on something other than Sloopy Girl dancing. Also, why did Rick Derringer want to look like Keith Partridge?
Yes Over 30 million views of the several postings of the 1975 video of Rick Derringer “Hang On Sloopy” with Lisa Leonard Dalton dancing. Over a quarter million views of Deconstructing A Myth since was posted 3 weeks ago.
It looks like pics I found of "Brownstone Street" on the Columbia Ranch. However, this site says it burned down in 1974: The Unofficial Columbia Ranch Site

kingofthehousemedia Lisa and I are planning a zoom interview in which she talks about the kids on the sidewalk at the front of the dance video and yes the rocket charged dog. With Lisa's commentary, it will include her long awaited disclosure and candid photos of the exact backlot and streets where the dance was shot in 1975. She'll talk about other famous movies shot on the same set. Fans will love it. Guaranteed!
Well, on the album cover, he seems to want to BE Sloopy girl. I bought the album at the time. It was all over the place, not a great follow up to AABoy

FINALLY!! The official reveal. The video was shot at MGM backlot 2. Many famous movies were made at MGM Studios. Soylent Green was the final movie shot at MGM backlots. A scene of CHiPs TV show was shot there. (at 3:45 in this video)
So, this is the same backlot that @MLutthans recently told me was the subject of the 1974 movie called “The Phantom Of Hollywood”, with Jack Cassidy, just before they truly tore it all down! If movie/TV backlots are interesting to you, check out the recent thread that I started here about Warner Bros. tearing down all of houses and facades that stood for years (Christmas Vacation house, Lethal Weapon Glover’s house, Bewitched, Partridge Family, I Dream Of Jeannie The Waltons and The Middle and many more, facades) at the Warner Bros. Ranch in Burbank, so very sad!

I've got that fine book and it's invaluable regarding MGM! How about this great footage of Desilu's famous "40 Acres" back lot with Desi, from the late '50's (Gone With The Wind, RKO Studios and I Love Lucy before and at that time and not long after, the home of Andy Griffith's Mayberry, Hogan's Heroes and Gomer Pyle USMC) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaQeMzlQ_Zg
