Same. I never found his schtick funny. I also hated the cabbie with the bad accent on Wings, too.

Agreed! I just bought it on DVD and I had forgotten how good it was. :)

I don’t think Taxi or Mary Tyler Moore ever jumped the shark.

I disagree. I absolutely cannot stand Brett Butler, I don't find her the least bit funny and she appears to me to be utterly bereft of any talent.

My favorite episode of Taxi is missing on Hulu - the one where Jim goes to the fancy party with Elaine. Must be there is music copyright issues

The complete series is available on DVD and it's pretty reasonably priced. :)

When The Rockford Files was first available for free on IMDB/Amazon, every episode was there except for exactly one: Season 2 episode 10 . Eventually it was available as well, but it drove me nuts trying to figure out why that particular episode wasn't there initially.

Recently saw a bunch of the Johnny Cash show episodes. Lots of great music but the production was terrible! You hardly ever saw any of the members of the bands, just the front singer! Everything else was in the dark! And WAY more corny historical segments than I remember seeing as a kid. And did we need so many duets with Johnny and the guests? Just let the guests perform complete songs themselves!

I've been watching a few scattered episodes of Naruto, with the intention of watching the entire series in order. The following is the scene that called me back into Naruto (some consider it the greatest fight in the series):

Likewise with Bleach (I've got 366 episodes and have only watched 120 so far).

Family Ties. I wish I had a complete guide to music and other kinds of edits on the DVD. The Pilot is missing Phil Ochs' Day of Decision, for example.

I guess I never even think of that series as using music, except one song, that being "At This Moment" by Billy Vera and The Beaters... I don't even care for the song that much, but it's ingrained in my memory of 'Family Ties'.

The 2-parter that opens season 10, with the vaudeville performers stranded in the camp for awhile, is one of the rare "I hate it" eps. Such a slog to get through and painfully unfunny.

    But very much the exception.

The one where Hawkeye freaks out at Radar (IIRC, it's called "A Fallen Idol"?) is just bad, and the one where Hawkeye falls in love with the rich Korean woman who is helping the war orphans is no picnic either...
