i've always wondered if she was related to the m*a*s*h actor larry linville. looked on wiki, but didn't see any reference to that.
Imdb says she was married to actor/director Mark Rydell until their 1973 divorce; lists that as her only marriage. No reference to Larry Linville either.
Always liked his work. And, growing up, while I "knew" him best from Room 222, he was another one of those seemingly omnipresent character actors of the era who might just pop up anywhere.
I first admired Michael Constantine in Room 222 although he was in the great movie The Hustler! They don't make actors like him, Ed Asner or Norman Lloyd much anymore, all gone this year.

Melvin Van Peebles, trailblazing director and Black cinema champion, has died - CNN Watermelon Man has always been a stone classic for me. Back in the day, it was a staple of late-night broadcast TV 'round these parts, albeit in slightly edited form of course, and I was profoundly mesmerized and impressed by it. It's shot like an early 70s sitcom turned inside out that grows purposely more biting as it rolls along (and the final scene is stunning). I've had the Region-B Indicator Blu-Ray for some time now, but I'm really looking forward to its inclusion in the new Criterion Van Peebles box that comes out next week. It's supposed to be sourced from a brand new 4k scan. Along with the other films in the set, hopefully a fitting tribute indeed.
Melvin Van Peebles was a trailblazer. Also, I think people like him and Tom Laughlin (star of the Billy Jack series) were who helped save Hollywood from dying. They came in at a time when filmgoers were tired of the war movies and musicals.
RIP, JoAnna Cameron, (September 20, 1948 - October 15, 2021): JoAnna Cameron, an Early Female Superhero on TV, Is Dead at 73
Talk about a blast from Saturdays past. Always got a kick out of those 70's Filmation shows and their $1.50 budgets. RIP, Mighty Isis.
Sad news about JoAnn Cameron. I used to watch that show at the time along with Shazam... it was pretty cool! A bit hard to talk about or look for because of that other affiliation for the name (and I apparently have a relative with the name Isis in Holland and wonder if she'll have trouble flying).
Dean Stockwell, ‘Quantum Leap’ Star, Dies at 85 Dean Stockwell, who began his acting career as a child in Hollywood’s golden age and later performed memorably in David Lynch’s “Blue Velvet”; in the comedy “Married to the Mob,” for which he was Oscar nominated; and on TV’s “Quantum Leap,” for which he was Emmy nominated, died Sunday. He was 85. The actor racked up an extraordinary 200 credits in a career that spanned seven decades. Dean Stockwell Dead: 'Quantum Leap' Star Was 85 - Variety
Great actor. One of his best roles was an early one. Compulsion was a fictional account of the Leopold-Loeb murder. Bradford Dillman, Orson Welles also terrific.
Since I'm a bit of a genealogy honk, and since I've got a few Linvilles in my family tree, I thought I'd do some quick research here. It looks like Larry Linville and Joanne Linville were very, very distantly related -- sharing a common Linville ancestor about 8 generations up.
