    You're very welcome :tiphat:

Despite being one of my fave Burton's films and also having a soft spot for it, I haven't seen "Edward Scissorhands" in a looong time and was unaware of the differences between the two Blu ray versions. I might pick both. Thank you for your advice.

Shagged! What a killer deal, thanks again :tiphat:

I checked this version on Blu-ray.com and apparently all 3 films do come with the standard extras that came with the original releases. With the only exception being the deluxe 40th anniversary release of 'A CLOCKWORK ORANGE' which did come with some more stuff.

I have both, and the newer one you linked to is better. The extra sharpening on the old Blu doesn't do the makeup scars on Depp any favors.

That's true , he wrote all the Material & handed it off for others to play accept that 1 song ............Kinda kept me away from this release .

Not a Pat Metheny release, misleading title.

The Dylan LP has been that price for months...and has a lot of negative reviews for pressing quality (the US pressing anyway...)

I bought RARW a few weeks ago off Amazon and got a fine copy but YMMV

Mine was fine. I enjoyed the album more than I thought I would.

Also that Thelonious Monk album is a bargain if it's the OJC version. Digital cut likely but sounds good

I just bit the bullet on Rough and Rowdy Ways based solely on the above positive reviews, with the hope that maybe these are from a different batch than the pressings that were bad.

Can you report back with your findings after you receive it and get a chance to listen? I had a couple copies go back last year (?) that had the same problems on all copies, especially on side C (swirls that sounded like sandpaper on each rotation for a majority of the side).

    thanks!

I’m with you. Had two at the time of release - returned both. Then saw a cheap Amazon price many months later and tried a third; it went back, too. And I’m not particularly picky about vinyl pressings! I want one someday, but may have to shell out for an EU pressing, I fear.

I had to buy four of the Dylan album before I got one that was acceptable.

It's Par's album, he wrote and created it. In the same sense that the classical album he doesn't play on is a Billy Joel album.

Those Spizer books are great. I've met him a few times at talks he gives down here and gotten him to sign a few of my volumes. I have almost all of the books he's put out. I strongly recommend them.
