I’m impressed by their performance but I ordered CDs only. Ordered on Sunday, shipped on Monday, in my hands on Friday. And they did provide a tracking number.
Hmm maybe they are waiting to ship my order until Steve Earle’s JTE is out in January and they can send in one mailer.
my second order is arriving today, this might be the quickest shipping i've ever gotten from new west. they have good customer service but the shipping has always been slow when they have a sale going on.
took about a week for them to generate a label, and now it's just been sitting and waiting to get handed off to the post office. thankfully i think i saw your warnings about slow shipping, so i'm not too up in arms.
thats my normal experience in the past, i must say i'm shocked at how quickly they processed this time. if you have any problems though they're customer service is good. One time they ran out of an item and contacted me offering anything i wanted as a replacement then suddenly were able to find one before shipping the replacement item.
This order was the fastest I've ever received from them came a couple days ago. Played about half today, loved everything other than the "jazz" version of Allman Brothers songs. It's ok, but not great.
Well I must say John Hiatt is awesome. Have seen him once years ago but bought a bunch here and they are all such great songs. Great to be able to dig into his catalog at such good prices.
2021 BF Sale is on. Tons of stuff, mostly cd's with some dvd's * a pinch of other formats. A lot of $12 marked down to $5. I made it through 24 pages & couldn't find anything I wanted that I didn't already have. On Sale
That covers the sales tax. I wish there was something I need. I may go back & review a bunch more pages.
Keep scrolling because a lot of the good stuff is buried deep: New Lobos on double colored vinyl for $15, and a lot of great five dollar DVD's (Willie, Merle, Susan Tedeschi, Neko Case....) Kind of shocked that they can't seem to unload the last Richard Thompson album. I got it on vinyl a couple of sales ago.
I made it to the $5 dvd's. They usually do include all the Thompson's in these sales. That's mostly why I didn't find anything, I've bought from these sales several times.

f you're doing this sale, don't overlook the Lily Hiatt items-- She's wonderful. And unless you really want the vinyl, you may want to get the Austin City Limits (Neko Case/ Susan Tedeschi) sets on DVD-- those cost half as much.
