The first one that came to mind (well, after the Dylan one obviously) was “Can’t get enough” Bad Company
Queen - Son And Daughter "I...Want...You...To Be A Woman!" Fantastic song! Also the Moody Blues's Want To Be With You. Not as good as the other one, but still fine.
Give me Your Love―Curtis Mayfield from Super Fly original film soundtrack ℗1972 Curtom label # CRS-8014-ST
The Go-Betweens, "Love Goes On": "There are times that I want you, I want you so much I could bust. I know a thing about lovers. Lovers lie down in trust."
The Byrds - I Knew I'd Want You Originally released as the B-side of "Mr. Tambourine Man" on Columbia in 1965. Later included on the album "Mr. Tambourine Man". The song was composed by Gene Clark. "I'd like to love you, with all of my heart You've had me on your trip, right from the start And when you looked at me, with love in your eyes I knew I'd want you, oh yeah"
Zilla Mayes - All I Want Is You Written by the great Allen Toussaint. Released as a single B-side (c/w "I Love You Still") on Allen Toussaint's and Marshall Sehorn's Tou-Sea label in 1968. This was the final release by Zilla Mayes, an R&B and gospel singer (and radio DJ) from Atlanta/Georgia. "Can't you tell by now All I want is you Oh-oh-oh, baby"
THIS! It's Elvis Costello's song [and he backs her on guitar], but Fiona Apple owns this! Either she's lived it out, or she's giving her usual, intense, consummate performance -- more likely, both. If you identify as female, I'm guessing you feel the anger -- male, it's one of the more frightening videos you'll see. The eyes! And note how Elvis is watching her every move, stretching it out, waiting for the last word. It never comes.
Dylan's "I Want You" was suggested early on, but I'd like to offer the rehearsal session from Unplugged -- a totally different (and yes, "stunning") song.
