Maybe it played a role in the play on words and its use in place of Broadway, though I thought it was likely referring to the Broad Street section of London.
Yep, figured that was the main idea, but meant to focus more on the question of whether the smaller Broad Street or the Broad Street section of London was meant. I still figure it was the latter, since it took place in London.
I actually thought at the time that naming the movie and the album “broad street” was a clever twist and reference to..broad way.
Cross-posting, as I imagine this won’t get much notice otherwise. Ringo has a new recording “See Ya Later, Alligator” available today, as noted here: New Ringo Starr EP "Change The World" (Sep 24, 2021) The previous volume in this (Various Artists) series was available for only two weeks, so solo completists may want to check it out.
Opinion | A Young Boy Found Older Brothers in the Beatles "At that year’s show (2019), the first thing the audience saw was Mr. McCartney on a big screen behind the band, picking up an acoustic guitar and starting to sing: “Love, love me do, you know I love you . . .” Then he smiled and told them: “Carry on!”

Hey folks I'm a YouTube Music subscriber and noticed that Paul's discography is placed in a quite confusing configuration. You have his albums separated in 2 sections: Paul McCartney and Wings. I don't see any reason for that. Plus, Wings Over America is not available in its deluxe format and London Town can only be found if you type down its name: London Town. It appears as Paul McCartney not Wings, though. There are several tracks missing as well. Flaming Pie deluxe is incomplete, which is a shame.
It is also incomplete on Deezer, missing Skeleton. Though it is there as Allen Ginsberg, so one can include it in a playlist.
@maccawings , Is part 3 of McCartney III still coming (probably 2022, if so) or has it been scrapped?

Good question Kevin. Since I initially heard about it, it has been dead quiet. On limited info about it (as it was 6 months or more from the time frame of projected release) it appeared very easy to put together. Without bonus tracks, I did not see much of a point but it made sense. At the moment, I don’t know if it’s a go or that they re-thought the idea and scrapped it. Now that the more exciting releases have come and gone, I will try to ask specifically about this one next time I have a friendly ear
Oops that should obviously read "30% off" on the shop.UDiscover.com site. They also still have the Ram half-speed master available if anyone's looking.
Someone above shows the Wild Life both sides record label…yes, an incredible label and IMHO also an incredible album..though possibly an acquired taste.
And one of history’s greatest investors….remember the recording of wings audience chanting his name…”Paul McCartney” and he responded jokingly…”can he publish.”
