IMDB Full Cast/Crew listing as of Dec 22 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) - Full Cast & Crew - IMDb
Coming July 8, it won't be long before we see something from Thor - Love & Thunder. I didn't know that Matt Damon had joined the MCU?? Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) - Full Cast & Crew - IMDb
Looking forward to this! Wish they were bringing back Mads Mikkelson. He plays the villain to perfection, but it seems his appearance in the trailer was just based on the initial Dr Strange film.
I feel like Caesillius(?) was one of Marvel's famous one-and-done villains and Mordo (and Wanda?) is/are going to be a bigger threat to Strange going forward.
Looks to have a better visual style than most MCU movies have had recently. And, unlike No Way Home, they've thought up some new visual tricks rather than recycling the same folding buildings and soul punch stunts. Expectations are of course high for a good-looking movie with Sam Raimi at the helm. It looks like his unique style is showing through to some degree. There's some sense that this one might actually be about the multiverse rather than just using it as a flimsy, thinly constructed excuse for fan service.
I enjoyed it I think America Chavez will be huge after this, she does look cool. Her books have been dull but it looks like she'll work well as a movie character.
We're still probably not gonna get Forbush-Man in this one, are we. Even Guardians Of The Galaxy gave us Howard The Duck...!
I’m surprised no one’s mentioned Patrick Stewart’s voice cameo as Professor Xavier, presumably from another universe than the previous films. Errr… never mind. I think someone did refer to it upthread.
There is an episode of Disney’s animated What If series, centered on Doctor Strange, that looks like it might be a prequel, of sorts, to the movie. The “evil Strange” in this trailer looks much like a similar character in that episode.
I DID It's also possible it is the same Xavier, pulled or occasional venturing into wherever this tribunal is to be part of a multiversal Illuminati. Or they're doing what they've done with Kingpin and Daredevil so far, where the character might not be the one that's been seen on screen in other "universes", but one with a functionally identical backstory. I've also seen it suggested that we might also be seeing a zombie Scarlet Witch, also from What If. Though that shot of a bloodied Wanda could be something from the tail end of a big fight sequence instead.
