Hi, couldn't find a thread on this show so please close if there is one. Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett is premiering on Disney+ Dec 29. The Book of Boba Fett I'm pretty excited. I thought the Mandolorian was a great show and expect this to be just as great. Discuss!
So far the word is that the trailers are only covering the first half of the first episode, and Robert Rodriguez is keeping some juicier stuff out of the promotional materials. We'll see how that goes. I'm so in.
My understanding is that this show will run concurrent to Mando in the timeline. Have you by chance watched the final episode of Mando and watched through the credit sequence?
Our whole extended family is excited to watch this. We love Mandalorian and most anything Star Wars related. Bring it on.
Just watched. Very similar in tone to Mandalorian overall and that’s a good thing ! Off to a solid start, pretty cool !
Wow, you two getting up early and jumping right to it! It will be tonight before I can get to it. I'm excited.
Just watched and I am curious to see how Boba will rule after the back story plays out. It isn't a spoiler to say he lives after encountering the Saarlac in Return Of The Jedi. Exposing the mystique of untold history can be dangerous but I think they are on the right track here. I am going to like this show! Also don't forget to catch the 20 minute Boba ESB/Jedi production documentary. Some good stuff.
I just finished watching it with my family. We all liked it! Not as good as the Mandalorian, but still pretty good. Excited for the next episodes!
Just watched it. Pretty good. I like the Star Wars movies and shows that don't dwell on Jedi and Force. I hope another IG-whatever Droid can appear Question: Spoiler: Question why is there a stormtrooper in the pit? Just some random dude in the desert who took a wrong turn?
Spoiler: Answer Didn't a Stormtrooper or two take a dive into the Saarlac during the battle scene in ROTJ? I haven't seen the movie in forever so I don't recall for certain. Agree with the sentiment here. This totally has the feel of The Mandalorian and looks as if it will be a fun ride.
Absolutely awesome. Boba Fett, still the baddest @$$ in the galaxy. There's also a short 20m documentary about the history of the character on D+, and it's lots of fun.
Surprised at the middling critic reviews. Thought this was as good as most Mandalorian episodes. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
Not in ROTJ. It was just Boba and Jabba’s cronies that fell into the Sarlacc Pit during that sequence.
