My only comparison to the Garth Brooks sets was that I'm not a fan of either act, so neither interests me personally no matter how low the price. However, I posted it because I thought there may be some who might benefit from the deal. As an aside, after reading about it, that Yeah! album sounds interesting - but if I don't enjoy anything I've ever heard off of Pyromania or Hysteria, chances are that Def Leppard just isn't for me.

I just saw this and shagged it on Amazon. It is an old semi-'classic' that just got a nice release from Vestron. It has a commentary and some good xtras and interviews with stars who are gone now, like Carradine and M. Emmet Walsh. Houses of the Holy remaster arrived today. For $16 its a no brainer. Quiet, sounds pretty good, needs to be cranked, glad to have it. However, compared to the originals ive had, the remaster is no replacement. The search continues for a quiet RL… And according to discogs i received the euro press, not the US one that required the side 2 recut. Also, it had the hype sticker and the “made in germany sticker” stuck right to the jacket rather than the shrink. Weird.

Oh i get import pressings all the time from Amazon. What i thought was weird was that the stickers were stuck right to the LP jacket.

This isn't "chit chat". What you're saying is that you don't want to know when a deal is an even better deal. I thought that was the point of this thread - to discuss deals on Amazon. $22.42 for a 6 disc Tull set is a pretty good deal. Some people may want to know that, because at some point it might reach the financial point where they want to purchase it. I like knowing when prices go down and deals become better deals.

The page also shows both the expanded Benefit and This Was sets for about $37. I should give the album a quick stream to see if I like it, as I lost my way with Tull after Songs From The Wood. Heavy Horses never did much for me except for the title track.

I think you should be applauded for all the wide-ranging info you have provided over the course of this thread. I'm signed up for alerts pertaining to this thread. I understand your POV. For me ... the "chit-chat" goes with the territory. Most of it is good natured and often it's humorous (IMO). Sometimes it goes off the rails, so to speak, (even when it comes to "inside jokes" between a handful of participants) but I can handle that. I can't remember who it was that mis-spelled 'snagged' as 'shagged', but that has become a running joke throughout this thread, ever since. I think it's funny. Obviously, your position and contributions within this thread overshadow my own sparse info, but I like the overall feel of this thread. Please continue to offer up Amazon deals as you see them. That wasn't me that post the previous price drop. I could've posted multiple times as the set continued to drop, but it didn't seem worth it. When it finally seemed to bottom out at $22.42, I commented because it seemed like it was worth letting people know that it may not be available at a lower price at that point. Regardless, this thread is for discussion of deals on amazon, and I think that comment qualified. You only seem to want to know of new deals that people find. That's fine, but it's not the only reason this thread exists, in my perception.
