I vote YES, full on scam. I purchased a similar Beatles set through an ad on Facebook. It turned out to be a bogus company out of China that had fake tracking info that said it was delivered to my house after a week or two. Shipping from China during the pandemic has been nowhere near that speed. The USPS had no record of the tracking number and it was never delivered to my house. The website disappeared within days of ordering and I was out the fifty dollars I paid for it. I contacted PayPal credit and they are still investigating. I no longer purchase from Facebook or Instagram (Owned by Facebook).

Yeah, I see a lot of ads for this kind of stuff on FB. They advertise real products at ridiculously low prices, so I cannot imagine that they are actually able to deliver. Had one offer me a 1st state Beatles butcher cover for $70.

I just repeat what I wrote in an other thread yesterday, concerning a Beatles vinyl box set from a similar "seller":

Don't buy from them. I know someone who actually did. They provided a fake tracking number, but of course, the box never arrived. He was able to get the money back via paypal customer protection, though. The tracking number showed several entries over a couple of weeks. It was mostly updated at the same time every day. Day 5, 4:02 pm in wherever in China, day 6, 4:02 pm wherever in a different country, day 7, 4:02 pm wherever in an other country... - you get the idea. So during the entire journey, the package was processed at the same time, all over the world, almost every day. For paypal, that was proof enough and he got the full refund. But yeah, this is a scam... There are different "companies" with the exact same offers... Classic case of good to be true

  22. Why yes, that is a good drug… for horses.

So we're in agreement - not a scam for horses. But on the other hand, it says it's a "boticide," which means it claims to kill bots - but that stuff is all over social media where the bot problem is worse than ever.

    Sorry, drifting off topic.

Rolling Stones, Rolling Stones . . . I understand why they brought in Mick Taylor because Brian Jones had sadly become a liability in his waning days. But my favorite era of theirs remains the 1960s. And I agree that an ad for a super-cheap copy of a hard-to-find box set sounds too good to be true.

When I'd buy LPs from garage sales, it wasn't unusual to get, say, 30 for $10 or so.

What's truly a scam is how lousy the real box set sounds.
