It didn't pull me in. I'd rather hear "Wild Child" (from Brigade) if I'm gonna headbang to generic sounding rock.

Ann still sounds great in her 70's, song is decent enough. Looking forward to hearing her take on "Bridge of Sighs."

I don’t follow Heart at all other than info here on the forum and rock sites on YouTube.

I was under the impression though that Ann and Nancy had kissed and made up after their spat regarding Ann’s husband so a solo album by Ann now seems surprising to me.

Is Heart still a going concern? A quick look at their website shows no upcoming shows .

  7. She still sounds great. Curious Roger Dean-like cover

Curious...that's a nice word for it. I'm not a fan of the cover at all, but others may disagree. I always love Ann's voice, though.

I think that they patched things up enough to do the Love Alive tour but things are not really resolved yet. I don't think we'll see any more Heart projects anytime soon.

I liked that. Ann sounded fantastic and the performance was good. I though the lyrics had a little too many clichés but I enjoyed the track.

She sure could sing. Her and Pat Benatar. Sorry the car radio is on a station that I swear is FM format 1970s-80's classic rock. It's as if it's Sirius but it's actually a local radio station and its 1980 or something. I'm pre-teen still lol with that radio station lol.

So much like Roger Dean that it actually IS Roger Dean.

I love Roget Dean and I think this is one of his best ever! He was getting stale for a while, but seems to have come back.

Ann sounds good (very good for her age). The songs aren't that compelling to me, though.

I heard about this album from Warren Haynes instagram. I'm listening now, and it is quite enjoyable. I'm not paying a ton of attention to lyrics. They are probably very 70s rock-ish, but Ann's voice sounds great. I did skip to the two songs co-written by Ann and Warren Haynes, and recorded with Gov't Mule, and I really like them, but everything I've heard so far seems good. Possible guilty pleasure listen.

Ann has said the big hang up is they can't agree on who should be in the band. They each want to use members of their own bands. But she also says they will do something at some point.

I might have to get Fierce Bliss. I like what I've heard so far.
