You don't see the cacti on the cover, Chris? Or maybe you're just unfamiliar with that alternate cover for the album? Anyway, here's another example for the thread: Los Alegras De Teran Y Su Conjunto - Norte I'm aware that the other Alegres De Teran album cover that I posted on the previous page is no longer displaying. I'll try to repost it at some point.
In addition to Little Feat's earlier mentioned "The Last Record Album," how about "Waiting for Columbus." I believe those are cacti behind the feet. Doug
Hi I've only seen the psychotic cover for Groundhogs Split album. Unaware there's an alternative, would like to see. Your link to it didn't work tho.
Is there any particular reason why you've decided to steal c-eling's post from the previous page? Don't do that, idledreamer. It's redundant and not useful. Find an album with a cactus on it that hasn't been posted here yet, why don't ya?
I live in Arizona. I live in the Sonoran desert, yet I only have five of the albums given as examples. Shame, shame on me as a desert dweller that I do not represent...
Don't feel too bad, mwheelerk. I am the OP for this thread, and while I don't live in the Sonora (or any other desert), I do have a giant cactus in my front yard (and I do mean giant -- it's two stories tall, with many branches, so it's quite wide too -- it's basically a tree), and yet I myself only own 6 of the albums seen or mentioned here (and one of those was a gift from a friend, so I only bought 5). Plus, if you really feel like your library of music is inadequate, you could use this thread as a shopping list, if you will. I'm sure that there's something here that you would like, even if you're otherwise unfamiliar with the album, or even the artist.
That was me... Sorry about that! I wonder why I didn't use the discord pic. Oh well. Hope this one works! This is the copy I got when I first got into this band...
