I only listen to the first 4 albums. That's the good stuff.

Agree on the first part. I've been here for a bit longer than 2007, and I'm pretty sure I could get banned quickly without trying too hard.

I could certainly list far more in that thread than this. Almost the entirety of III and Physical Graffiti for just a start!

That's pretty much my take...prior to those two, there are certainly some songs that are better than others...but in my opinion they're all "pretty good" to great. Just a comment on Stairway...absolutely over killed over the decades...but that doesn't take away that it's a great piece of work. Maybe a tiny but overrated but, what isn't?

live version is like 40min long....you really got to be ready for it.

Everything from In Through The Out Door except Carouselambra. Otherwise, I’m struggling: Zep’s oeuvre up to and including Presence never gets less than very good in my opinion.

Stairway doesn't get played in the UK anywhere near the amount I can imagine it does in the US. I've never tired of it.

I love Zep.... I don't have any particular dislikes as far as songs themselves go, but I wasn't always in the mood for 30 minute jams on Dazed and Confused ... and as much as I love Bonzo, there are few extended drum solos that keep me interested these days.

    Oh, geez...
I remember when 'IV' came out. Everybody and their uncle had a copy. Must have heard 'Stairway To Heaven' 1,000 times in a month after it was released and 100,000 times since then. Tired of it in a major way.

Not being around at the time probably helps. I don't remember hearing Stairway as a kid even though my Dad loves Zep and had the LP, which he later gave to me. I remember hearing Black Dog a lot. My Dad's a real heavy rock man.

    Same.
    Great song.
It used to get played a bit, but I stopped listening to radio.... and whether I've heard it a lot, too much, or whatever, doesn't change the fact it's a great song

    Station17 Time to play B-sides...

One of my favorite bands. Hot Dog & The Lemon Song are my my least favorites by far...

Live stuff by them doesn’t do much for me either.

The reggae track that wasn’t really trying to be reggae at all?

Totally missing the point of everything is your MO. At least you’re consistent.

    Singer has no range
Guitarist is too much of a minimalist
    Bassist is an unprofessional hack
Drummer goes too light on the skins

No such thing as a 40 minute version of Kashmir or Whole Lotta Love. Stick to Floyd, please.

Indeed, the OP has cleverly demonstrated the silliness and futility of these kinds of knee-jerk hater threads. Well played!

The main Classic Rock station in New York does a listener voted top 1043 every year...for long as I can remember (we're talking at least the last the last thirty years)it's been at number one.

Side 3 and 4 of Physical Graffiti and LZ1 as my go to, and unlike most I actually like Presence.

I stear clear of IV, and actually think the most ploddy is II which I do think I'll ever bother to listen to again, just a load of reverb blues jams
