something tells me that maybe walmart doesn't want to be the one to touch for unlawful carnal knowledge...
Johnny Cash LP Live at Folsom Prison $22.97 (pre-order 8/12/22) Robot or human? My Chemical Romance 2LP May Death Never Stop You $33.97 (pre-order 9/9/22) Robot or human? My Chemical Romance LP I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love $24.97 Robot or human?
Ha! There's a good chance I bought my original cassette at a Walmart, though I do recall them forcing Nirvana to censor some of their releases around that time.
Sorry for the tardy reply- picked this up last week. Not the quietest vinyl ever, but sounds amazing & mastered by Kevin Gray! Discogs link: Aretha Franklin - Aretha's Gold
FWIW, it’s mastered by the same guy who did last year’s War vinyl box set (which I believe got generally good reviews).
I wasn’t commenting on the price...thus “FWIW”. Nevertheless, the single RSD LP was ~$25. And $39 for a (presumably) well mastered double LP may seem like a bargain in the not-very-distant future...
It is steep and that’s why I haven’t ordered it yet. I do have RSD volume 1 still sealed I will likely trade in locally towards something else to make up some of the difference. I do need the new Monophonics and Arcade Fire and an endless list of wants..
Dio 2LP Holy Diver $37.97 (pre-order 7-8-2022) Robot or human? Conway Twitty LP Greatest Hits $19.97 (pre-order 7/15/22) Robot or human?
Hope this is the Marino mix. At the link it says 2016 mix which on discogs is a mp3. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Since it's two LP's I'm 99.9% sure this will be the new remix from the Deluxe Edition. No idea yet who cut it.
Dio - Holy Diver This is the one I was referring to. Its a 2lp Back On Black from 2010. Fingers crossed. Dio - Holy Diver
Looks like the red and black splatter pressing of Stone Temple Pilots "Core" is back in stock online. Walmart.com NJB
It's strange that not only is Core back in stock online, but so is STP Purple and three of the Metallica albums from the group of six that were sold exclusively by Walmart last year -- Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and Justice. (Plus the Black Album, which has been available pretty much non-stop since it was released last year.)
