I would have thought 'Planet of The Apes' as well but the reality is ' The Ten Commandments'

All of them are my favorites! He always gets the best looking leading ladies. That's how he excelled Daniel Craig...

Every now and then I watch Major Dundee, fabulous cast … but fails to deliver.

Who will stand against me now

The Ten Commandments with Planet of the Apes a close second followed by Touch of Evil.

Planet Of The Apes, Omega Man and Soylent Green. Will watch them whenever the opportunity is there. Ben Hur as well.

I think he's often stiff as a board even in his best films. He's at his best in Touch of Evil, El Cid, Planet of the Apes and Will Penny. I also enjoy Soylent Green, Omega Man, The Warlord, Major Dundee, Khartoum (where even he can't out-ham Olivier) and the Three and Four Musketeers films - oh, and his brief role in Branagh's Hamlet. Most watched for me, though: Touch of Evil.

Easily, "Ben Hur". A truly remarkable film and probably his best role. (He won the Oscar for it).

I've never actually watched The Ten Commandments all the way through. Same with Ben Hur. Planet of the Apes I've seen many times.

Ben Him for me. I once had the pleasure of watching it projected at the Cinerama Dome with ol' Chuck himself sitting there. That was quite a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime experience..

Ben-Hur, the best of the many Epics of that era.

First viewing, my parents took my sister and me out of school in the afternoon to see it at The Hippodrome in downtown Baltimore.

I guess it was reserved seating. I had just turned 9, my biggest memory of that day was my parents buying us Opera Glasses, binoculars in a snap case. It was a old, large theater, but binoculars?

Great movie, I try to watch it every Easter.

Ten Commandments followed by Planet Of The Apes...almost a tie, but Apes comes in second for me.

Forgive a personal anecdote, but in the mid-1980s I did sound as part of a small documentary video crew for a project on the history of the Screen Actors Guild.

We shot with Charlton Heston at his Hollywood Hills home.

I must say that listening to Heston's voice through my well-placed Schoeps microphone>mixer>headphones kind of blew my mind.

Say what one will about the man's acting, but the tone of his voice had a quality to it was almost hypnotizing. I'll never forget it.
