You weren't at the infamous Beastie Boys show at The Royal Court then?

Who ;). edit Just googled it, the Cops would have been called to quell the trouble, otherwise I doubt they would have been there

Yes, the band has at least some of the OARs from the tour.

The faces seem to be swapped here. Looks like Roger, David, Nick and Rick instead.

Those releases on streaming were almost definitely there for a limited period in order to claim copyright - certainly not because the band regarded them as good quality. Gilmour has pretty pristine audio standards for releases with his performances on, and rarely, if ever, will release an audience / non-board recording. Maybe this will changes when he dies, but don't count on it.

It would be odd to record every single show on the tour, only to throw out the tapes at the end. That said, given the nearly identical setlists (Oakland and Montreal alone featuring unique second encores), all we need is one decent recording of a decent performance.

First of all, there are people who stay away from authorized releases. Second, while the recording is avaialble on YouTube, it could be made much more widely available than it is. And third, who's saying people have to pay? Pink Floyd could release the recording to streaming services.

I much prefered the Royal Court before they took the seats out, I'm not a fan of standing gigs. That was one nasty experience you had there, hope it didn't sour your impression of Liverpool too much. Personaly I've never had a bad experience at any Liverpool venue.

I loved Liverpool - spent 10 years there in total. The Beasties gig was just surreal. One of those, "Did that just happen experiences?"

It’s a deliberate part of the overall archness of the piece. As in, a parody of the kind of superficial pop magazine fluff they were expected to do since their Dark Side fame, where no one had a clue who was who.

Not a million miles away from “which one’s Pink” really.

That meets the groan-factor at about 9, but it's still amusing :) .

    On a (bastardised) theme...

"The Invisible Remix" with just one word... "...evaporating...". It's ok, I'll hold my nerve... :shh:

There is no Dark Side of the Moon. In fact, its all dark.

In other words, "everything you know is wrong".
