I thought it was pretty cool that they had a clue about Runaways bass player - and four-time Jeopardy! winner - Jackie Fuchs.

Funny how contestants tonight knew about Hendrix and Billy Joel but not about Andrew Bird or Pearl Jam, lol.

The player I chose on Tuesday night's episode won... While the meteorologist had a decent amount at the end, and even ran a category or two, I kind of thought he was going to lose because he wasn't quite as strong of a player as he had been the previous few days...

For what it's worth, I only knew the clues regarding Hendrix and Joel as well... :)

And he probably overthought on Final Jeopardy. The most obvious answer was the right one this time.

I overthought that one too. That was the one about Nixon right? Nixon came immediately to my mind but the clue read more like it was about advice given to Nixon and the answer was about who gave the advice.

    I haven't seen/heard anything yet...

I've said it before on these forums, but I'll say it again: I hope Mayim gets/takes the gig full time.

Either Mayim or Ken would be fine with me. They're both great.

Well since Ken is ten times the host Mayim is I sure hope Ken gets the permanent hosting gig. He's as close to Alex Trebek as anybody's bound to get.

Though I'm glad to see the contestant I picked a few days ago won again last night (Friday), I really do kind of think the contestant in the middle got screwed out of the Final Jeopardy... To my eyes anyway, she had enough of Harriet Tubman written down to 'count' as the complete clue far as I'm concerned.

I mean if I were there judging, I could have gone up to her screen and say "That looks like an 'm', I see an 'a' in there, and sure, that's a weirdly shaped 'n'..."

And, as an aside, I thought Friday's game had more ups 'n downs than a yo-yo dieter...

Totally agree. She had enough written down to qualify. Maybe they'll bring her back.

The wife and I both agreed on this. She deserved a better fate.

Mis-spelling has always been allowed. Incomprehensibility has not. Viewers have the benefit of knowing that the second word was supposed to be "Tubman," and so it's easy to say, Yeah, that looks a lot Tubman, but if you didn't know what the second word was would you have guessed it from what she wrote down? I think not.

Everyone can judge for themselves... was it good enough?

That was plenty good enough to have been judged correct. I'm afraid my handwriting is much worse than that...

She obviously came up with the answer in the last few seconds so she shoulda just wrote Tubman.

I dunno, man. I kinda see "Dabney Coleman" and I KNOW of NO biography written about him!

I wonder if the squiggles to the left meant she thought her magic pen wasn't working, and she just ran out of time.
