I may not buy this box set, yet, if Mr. 130 who attends Paul’s shows buys up the entire inventory, I think that’s gonna be a tad unfair. ;)

I wish they were selling outer slip case variations so you could store all the previously purchased versions in it as well…

Right, for people like me who don't known any of them on LP it may be a cool purchase. A lot of these people going "what is this cash grab, I already own these" maybe are not realizing this set is not for them and Macca isn't trying to trick you into buying records you already own? lol

Oh Paul how could you. Who would of thought it would come to this?
This is a shameless money grabbing release by a rich old man who long ago kissed goodby to artistic integrity.
It's official, Paul McCartney has become the Mr Burns of pop.

Have to disagree with you, McCartney has written plenty of great catchy tunes since the late 70s. Here's one of his most recent...

The marketing just rolls on and on. I will not be purchasing this set, I have the first two, haven’t got III yet, that’s what happens when you subscribe to a streaming platform.

The majority of you people are unreal....
It's like you're going through a 3rd world problem with your collections.
This is obviously not aimed towards you all that own the albums already, it's aimed at a new crowd wanting
    to build their McCartney collection.
What is wrong with finally putting all 3 'McCartney' albums together finally anyway?
This is not the worst decision that's been made in the world.
Nobody is making anybody buy this either!
    Geez....

Yes you have a good point there. It just looks ridiculous if you’re an old crusty with all the vinyl from back in the last century. I’ve just lined ABKCO’s pockets by purchasing the Stones singles box, lots of my contemporaries will have the original singles but I didn’t.

    These record companies never change...
My dad, used to get p!ssed off he said when he was buying Buddy Holly releases in the early 60's.
The repetition on singles, EP's and Albums, and in a lot of cases, buying a release just to get one or two 'new' songs...
He said in those days, records were expensive to buy.

    1. No one HAS to buy it. There's really no law.
    2. Your approach is simplistic: if someone submits a record or book or whatever, the company that invests in it is then entitled to recoup its investment commercially. For example, if you get a book published, you'll get an advance payment; the publisher will then try to sell serialisation rights to the highest bidder, and generally do whatever it takes to make BACK the money invested. This is not a sign of authorial greed, regardless of what outsiders think. Same goes for records. The artist wants his music out there; that's HIS concern. The record label wants to make as much money out of it as it can - that's IT'S concern. Don't conflate the two without any evidence.
    3. Read 1. again, over and over, until it finally sinks in.

Remember how VJ Records created many different Beatles releases while having just a few songs in their catalog? Were people complaining then?

I like the first album the best of all his solo stuff, He was just coming off The Beatles breakup and it just sounds like some of these songs like Every Night and others could have been on the white album or Maybe Im Amazed on Abbey Road. Dont care much for the other 2 albums.

How many different colored versions and designs are there going to be to soak up as many $ as possible? ( he’s my favorite artist of all time but I dislike his penchant for always going for the bucks).

I still love his 1st album, may be my favorite of the lot.
To this day, I maintain that "Maybe I'm Amazed" is as good as anything solo that he's done. Certainly my all time fave.

Oh no, I love it when these re-re-releases sell like hotcakes! Spend all your money on them!
I’d just love it if Macca inc. start releasing something a bit more original and daring….
