or "See You Later Mike". But back on track, still wishing these pages could be filled in with info from Paul in coming weeks or months
We may want to open a thread on Beatles Universe: Upcoming Releases or something to that effect. When we received multiple release info, we are not going to track down several different threads to alert members that things are coming. We need a more generic place to put them as placing them in certain threads discloses what they are or may be. We are increasingly under more scrutiny to our activities and I only mention due to several members seemingly irritated by their placement. The easy answer is to create a more ambiguous place to put things or cease sharing. I’m ok either way . But as a group, maybe we should decide if we no longer want this information in the threads
And now, back to actually discussing the McCartney Archive Collection where the MPL marketing game plan has slipped into neutral and idles away...
There are rumours that there will be an announcement about the announcement about an announcement coming soon. I’ll need a second source to independently verify this before I can announce this though.
Just to put the speculation train back on its rails, here are MacCaWings' posts as originally posted: We can rule STINYC out because it is mentioned by MacCaWings, therefore it's not the surprise release. Concert For Bangladesh; High In The Clouds; the archive reissues of London Town and Back To The Egg can also be ruled out for the same reason. I believe the "save your money" release
I think the « announcement this week or next week » was about Ringo’s EP, please correct me if I’m wrong
Oops...Looks like I was hungry and ate half of my last phrase! I was going to say that I believe the "save your money" release will be something totally unexpected - but rumours about it being the Revolver boxset are getting hotter...
Or every two McCartney III songs on a 45 single and all singles packaged neatly into a jukebox replica box. Or maybe we could just get deluxe archive CD & vinyl remasters of Back to the Egg and London Town with bonus tracks. No? Okay, jukebox replica it is.
I always get confused on advice like "Save Your Money" and "Worth Waiting For"... like... - Hey, it's the new Ringo EP! - Meh, sounds like a good occasion for me to save money. - Actually, I've got an extra copy, would you like me to give it to you now? - No thanks, not now; I'm told it's worth waiting for, so I'll just wait. But then I find I'm easily confused as I get older...
Yes, but they are literally the only two Wings albums they haven't released. I mean, I don't know if Wings Wild Life is for everyone, either, but they released it. Seriously, it makes no sense to end the campaign without these two releases.
He was referring to the "save your money" statement by MacCaWings. While it is probably a Beatles release, it doesn't mean Paul archives series will end incomplete.
