Maybe this has been discussed before, but what do you think? When it comes to the most valuable it is probably John Lennon, although having been famous for nearly twenty years and therefore he has given quite a lot of signatures, his autograph is highly demanded. Concerning the rarest, my guess would be Ritchie Valens, only famous for a couple of months.
Love Ritchie Valens but he’s not well known these days and I doubt he would be valuable. How about Dylan? I hear he rarely signs autographs.
Off topic but I once saw an Elvis Presley album autographed for sale on Ebay. What made it extra rare is the album was release years after Elvis died.
I imagine a copy of Abbey Road signed by all four Beatles would be pretty rare. A copy of Who Are You signed by all four members of The Who would probably be very rare, as Keith Moon died a few weeks after the album’s release, A copy of Double Fantasy signed by John Lennon would also be exceedingly rare.
Yes , Richie Valens is not so valuable, but I was referring to scarcity, and I guess he only had a couple of months to sign…
320 as far as I know. My copy is number 23 (where possible, I stuck with that number for most of my purchases).
That’s very limited, and I doubt he signed much in his life. If that were Michael Jordan’s signature, it would be quite a premium!
