    I suppose this is basically about "novelty songs", so my favourite is still this gem -

    Purple People Eater is brilliant!

    I also recommend Haunted House by Gene Simmons (not the Kiss guy) and the smash hit Monster Mash by Bobby "Boris" Pickett.

    Only last year I came across Naughty Naughty Naughty by Joy Sarney, a UK hit from the mid-'70s that I'd never heard before. Right off the bat I didn't like it but it has a great beat that drags you in ...
